- HunterTV, on 10/15/2007, -3/+48I predict the only reason to watch this on video versus the original will be for Alba-candy.
- violencejack, on 10/16/2007, -4/+42when will hollywood be original again?
- MDrake, on 10/15/2007, -5/+38I wish I had eye implants to see her naked on a continual basis.
- MikeonTV, on 10/16/2007, -1/+25Every diggers wet dream - Jessica Alba is blind.
- kenvsryu, on 10/15/2007, -3/+27the original hong kong flick
http://www.kfccinema.com/reviews/horror/eye/eye.ht ... - 5xSTUN, on 10/15/2007, -3/+27That bit at the end with her looking out the peep hole in the door, c'mon.
I mean, you know, you just KNOW something's going to go BWAAAAAH! and scare the crap out of you. - kidmaninwar, on 10/14/2007, -3/+25"The Eye Teaser" Trailer and "The Eye" Teaser Trailer are not the same thing, title is misleading
- CPUGUy, on 10/16/2007, -1/+20When people stop being made uncomfortable by something new.
- ShrimpCrackers, on 10/17/2007, -3/+14See, thats what happens when you put the eyes of Asian horror flick fans into the eyes of pretty Western women. *Sighs*.
For instance, if Jessica Alba got my eyes, every time she'd look in the mirror, she'd always see herself slowly undressing. - Spyder2k, on 10/16/2007, -1/+11Eye see what you did there.
- JaffaC, on 10/14/2007, -2/+12I've seen the original Chinese movie, and it was really good, hopefully this one is as good as it was.
- kenvsryu, on 10/16/2007, -4/+12She looked hot with the glassy eyes.
- Femix, on 10/14/2007, -1/+9meh, I "Into the Blue" looks better if you know what I mean.
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -0/+7I'm not interested dealing with your issues with women, go take it somewhere else.

As many have said, scope the original Pang Brothers version for a worthwhile flick. Looks this remake will be chock full of cliches and Alba will be the only worthwhile thing. Skip the flick, get a Maxim with her in it, and rent any of the following for a real Asian horror flick this Halloween season:
Ringu, Tale of Two Sisters, Cure, Kairo (NOT the ***** USA remake "Pulse"), Shutter, or just about anything by Takashi Miike - TyrannousDotNet, on 10/16/2007, -2/+9this movie came out in the 90's and was called Blink
- Neiby, on 10/14/2007, -0/+7Exactly. I thought "The Eye Teaser" was an odd name for a movie.
- mahku, on 10/14/2007, -1/+7The sequel will be called "The Foot", where a guy gets a foot transplant and starts kicking everyone's ass
- FreezerB, on 10/16/2007, -0/+6No one actually watched Into the Blue. Everyone just -saw- it.
- inkswamp, on 10/14/2007, -1/+7I'll probably get buried, but what the hell. Most horror movies nowadays suck out loud, presenting a lot of style and no substance and tossing in a few big names for good measure. It's either torture porn (no thanks) or some overwrought supernatural thing where something scary and/or freaky has to happen in every single scene to keep the ADD-stricken audience glued to the flimsy plot. (I'm still annoyed at how badly handled Constantine was.)
Here's an older film directed by the guy who directed The Empire Strikes Back with a similar concept to this film. It might be a better use of your time. (I'm providing this link assuming everyone's interest in The Eye goes beyond Jessica Alba's *****.)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109297/ - apologeticus, on 10/14/2007, -1/+6So she sees dead people?
- johnhummel, on 10/13/2007, -0/+5I saw the original Hong Kong version some time ago - very, very freaky movie, even if the ending was rather weak in my opinion.
- RealmDown, on 10/17/2007, -1/+6and on mute.
- zmur, on 10/14/2007, -3/+8hopefully jessica alba will show her acting skills in this movie, IMHO all her movies sucked except for Dark Angel & Sin City ...
- Snyder, on 10/14/2007, -0/+5Dark Angel wasn't a movie.
- jj101, on 10/14/2007, -1/+5Seconded. Jessica's just too much.
- cocoamix, on 10/14/2007, -3/+6Oh man, I hope they do justice to the Elevator scene.
- Klarth, on 10/14/2007, -4/+7Learn when to close your quotation marks.
- ZenMojo, on 10/13/2007, -0/+3Like he said in Hostel, "You could spend...all yo money...in dayuh." The same thing could be said of renting Miike flicks (if you're ***** insane).
Dead or Alive wasn't too bad, though. Just don't expect anything out of it other than a badass time. AND STAY AWAY FROM VISITOR Q!!! - PRlME, on 10/14/2007, -2/+5reminds me of that crappy movie Gothika starting Halle Berry
- inactive, on 10/14/2007, -0/+3Having seen the original version of The Eye and then reading the plot summary of that film, I've come to the conclusion that you're full of crap.
- Touchy610, on 10/14/2007, -1/+4How does one get from no to know?
- inactive, on 10/13/2007, -0/+3Accident, I always do that when I type fast.
- Davies, on 10/14/2007, -0/+2The problem is, judging by the trailer, it will be way too dark of a movie to be able to see Alba.
- Tiak, on 10/14/2007, -0/+2Alba is dressed in a bikini through large chunks of one, but not the other... This should go without saying.
- ZenMojo, on 10/14/2007, -1/+3An American remake of an Asian horror flick being as good as the original? I think the odds are slim of that happening after The Ring (good, but not as good), The Ring Two, Darkwater, The Grudge, The Grudge 2, One Missed Call, and Pulse...versus The Departed.
- Sabretou, on 10/15/2007, -0/+2A Bollywood remake: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443594/
- fantasticFlan, on 10/14/2007, -1/+3The second hand can't make it any safer.
- SjRaptor, on 10/13/2007, -0/+2There are many great, original movies that come out of Europe. Granted, you watch them with subtitles, but I was very impressed with the quality of the flicks, great action, fights, excellent plots and pretty good dialog. I'm just in awe over how many of us Americans totally miss out on what the world is producing for movies, as we're stuck in this Hollywood bubble that recreates the same old ***** every 10 or 20 years.
- wolfzombie, on 10/17/2007, -0/+2"The Foot" must star Chuck Norris.
- mfratz, on 10/13/2007, -1/+3Maybe this will finally let her do some real acting instead of just being a ridiculously hot girl on screen for 2 hours.
Doesn't look too bad. - cybermort, on 10/14/2007, -2/+4looks lame
- Neiby, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1Halle Berry either makes really good movies (Monster's Ball) or really bad movies (umm...pretty much all of the others.) There really doesn't seem to be much of a middle ground with her.
- daizaru, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1As much as I would like to admit myself a master of all things typographical, I too have done silly things like that. It's amazing what you can produce when you type fast and are a little tired. You win at the internet for pointing it out though... congrats!
- daizaru, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1Welcome to the wonderful genre of horror movies. You go to them willingly, knowing they are scary. Most time the music gets loud, you're prepared something scary is going to happen. For a lot of people, they still get scared and love every moment of it. I've never been a large fan of the genre.
- inactive, on 10/14/2007, -1/+2wasnt this on tales from the crypt.
- yfguitarist, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1If you're going Miike buy "The Happiness of the Katakuris" - best zombie musical ever!
- mihkeltt, on 10/13/2007, -0/+1god damn it. i hate such trailers where there's a shocker at the end. i know that it's coming, but it gets me every time.
- EmperorAwesome, on 10/14/2007, -1/+2I really don't. Those...weren't words, just now.
