Sony may want to push the Blu-Ray format, but they're not so stupid as to completely ALIENATE 95% of the world's digital consumers.

- Eddie Brock does not gain arachnid powers. They're emulated by the symbiotic suit, which is capable of much more, however Eddie has none of these powers if he is separated from this suit. (Also he's about three times Topher Grace's size, but that's another Digg article altogether).
- Harry Osbourne's villain is not called "New Goblin." He is just the "Green Goblin" much like his father, but is referred to as "Green Goblin 2" for reference purposes. (Hey at least they didn't call him "Hobgoblin"). Harry dies as the GG2, but makes peace with Peter on his deathbed.
- Gwen Stacy is actually Peter's first girlfriend. Pre-dates Mary-Jane. Is not Eddie Brock's love interest. Is killed off by the original Green Goblin.
- Sandman is not the man who killed Peter's father. This was changed for the movie, yes, but seems like a cheap imitation of Tim Burton's Joker.
- The Spider-man suit doesn't change on its own to black. It is in fact an alien life form known as the symbiote, and doesn't not bond with Peter's original suit. Unfortunately nobody made me prepared before I went and saw 300. Darn shame, too. I could have happily skipped 300 and been much happier once I saw Spider-man 3 if I had known. I _HATE_ spoilers.
