- SUPERnova007, on 08/28/2008, -52/+255The idea of a Crank sequel is the most offensive thing I've heard.
- dpmrpi, on 08/28/2008, -10/+175Crank was a totally awesome, totally ridiculous, enjoyable action rollercoaster. It was funny, entertaining and then completely over the top. The Transporter movies were the same way, fighting while in a plane spinning out of control towards the ground was absurd but fairly entertaining.
I hope they make a Shoot 'em Up sequel with Clive Owen next. - MaxterICC, on 08/28/2008, -8/+105and I can't wait.
- billbugger, on 08/28/2008, -7/+100Jason Statham is awesome!
- inactive, on 08/28/2008, -3/+82Never Gonna Give You Up?
- Asianwaste, on 08/28/2008, -2/+70Crank was awesome. It was absolutely mindless fun that rarely took time to pause.
- Hetman, on 08/28/2008, -16/+69You would need at least 5 bottles of tequila to come up with an idea of a sequal where the last scene of the movie is a man falling thousands of feet from a plan and dying. Not to mention the fact that they say the chemical he is giving has no cure and he is going to die anyways. I am thinking they had more drugs than just tequila and they were probably huffing paint as much as possible. The least brain cells you have seems to best way to write sequals these days.
- inactive, on 08/28/2008, -9/+56Crank was actually a pretty slick flick
Most people labeled it immediately as a typical, brain dead action flick
Which is what it's supposed to you
Listen to me, if you don't love typical brain dead action flicks there's something wrong with you ***** - Purkake, on 08/28/2008, -1/+43Agreed.
Juice me! - SenorCardgage74, on 08/28/2008, -1/+42Also, may I suggest featuring a bazooka that fires sharks somehow?
Cuz that would be awesome. - rebotfc, on 08/28/2008, -1/+39He didn't die, watch it again.
- WasabiBomb, on 08/28/2008, -1/+37Damn straight. How the hell can a movie where the good guy kills multiple bad guys with a carrot be bad? Answer- it can't. It's awesome.
- XFLOP20, on 08/28/2008, -1/+34Crank might not have been the most logical movie, but it was damn sure fun to watch.I'll definitely see part 2.
- SenorCardgage74, on 08/28/2008, -3/+36YES YES YES ***** YES!
Crank was retarded in the BEST possible sense of the word. - Hayes, on 08/28/2008, -2/+34My favourite part of Crank was the ringtone.
http://www.dylangreene.com/custom/dylan/crank.mp3 - mikebb79, on 08/28/2008, -2/+33Who cares how the first one ended. They needed to do a sequel because the first one kicked ass and Jason Statham is awesome. It's not Shakespeare, relax!
- ahoyhoy1, on 08/28/2008, -0/+29But if you have the technology, you can rebuild him.
- gonx32, on 08/28/2008, -1/+29He landed on a car and from Con Air we know that doesn't liquefy a person. Perfectly plausible, just like the rest of the movie.
- BadseedJR, on 08/28/2008, -0/+26Yeah, the thing about movies is... they are fake. You can do whatever the hell you want when you write one.
- Saitekc, on 08/28/2008, -2/+28Looks awesome, I loved the first one. People who dare to challenge the un-written rules of movie making are my heroes. :D
- NathanielJ, on 08/28/2008, -1/+26Pfft, it wasn't midnight yet when the first movie ended.
- badwithcomputer, on 08/28/2008, -1/+26I bet they had the hook up on some computer keyboard cleaner. That stuff is like ideas in a can...with a trigger.
- rebug, on 08/28/2008, -4/+29In the last few frames of the movie, he blinks.
- ronnsprocket, on 08/28/2008, -1/+25maybe they will combine scenes for more intensity and he will bang some chic while hes falling out of a plane during an airshow...All while the crowd cheers him on.
- NathanielJ, on 08/28/2008, -0/+23Amazing that you think it's going to be so bad and yet you'll *probably* skip it.
- davidsmero, on 08/28/2008, -7/+30Didn't he fall thousands of feet at the end from a ***** helicopter? I am no Bill Nye but the human body would pretty much liquefy at impact.
- luet, on 08/28/2008, -0/+22jesus christ stop arguing about the plausibility of the movie, half of it isn't plausible in the first place. it's god damn badass, so ***** stop arguing!
- AlienMushroom, on 08/28/2008, -5/+26Guess what my ringtone is :-)
- NegativeDigg, on 08/28/2008, -0/+19This one?
http://www.dylangreene.com/custom/dylan/crank.mp3 - jeexbit, on 08/28/2008, -1/+203 days, 5 bottles? Pffft lightweights...
- btschul, on 08/28/2008, -1/+19And that erases the fact that he just hit a car from 20,000 feet in the air?
- psevium, on 08/29/2008, -0/+18He survived because he's Jason ***** Statham
- McHaleR, on 08/28/2008, -1/+17ummm apparently you didnt watch the first 80 mins of the movie. They dont need to explain that. And after he falls he blinks and you still hear his heartbeating. I cant wait for more mindless action
- sockpuppets, on 08/28/2008, -1/+17He landed in a trampoline factory.
- failedpimp, on 08/28/2008, -0/+16Now you're talking!!!
- btschul, on 08/28/2008, -0/+16Hey, what do you know. Now it's my ringtone.
- BlackJackJester, on 08/28/2008, -1/+17He speaks the truth. He opens his eyes and his heart keeps beating. ALIVE
No more ridiculous than Marv getting shot 200 times in Sin City, and living. - SPRFRKR, on 08/28/2008, -1/+16Strangely enough, people have lived from falls at terminal velocity.
http://digg.com/world_news/Skydiving_Miracle_Man_F ... - btschul, on 08/28/2008, -4/+19Didn't he fall ***** 20,000 feet onto a car at the end of Crank 1? How do they explain the fact that he is still alive. Adrenaline can't piece your skull back together.
- socalftw, on 08/28/2008, -0/+14lol, loved that scene in the first one. i hope one day i can have a crowd cheering me on while i'm plowing my girlfriend.
- mustang460, on 08/29/2008, -0/+14woman who survived the highest fall recorded, in the Guinness book of world records at 33,316 ft
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/26/world/europe/26v ...
man survived 22000 foot fall out of a bomber in WWII
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1071076/p ... - sockpuppets, on 08/28/2008, -1/+1399 luft balloons?
Kajagoogoo? - ausfahrt, on 08/28/2008, -2/+14btschul - Why can't people take this kind of fantasy but they can believe that Vader can choke you with the "force" and that they have swords made of light. :-)
- zephyr42, on 08/28/2008, -0/+11From the moment i sat down to that movie and he picked up the carrot.... i knew it would be a fantastic ride.
- Rivetgeek, on 08/28/2008, -0/+11and the problem here is? Hell, as far as I'm concerned they can make a new one every year with the same plot and the only difference is where he nails her.
- ajaxmil, on 08/28/2008, -0/+11The description of Crank 2 sounds IDENTICAL to Crank one.... except now he rails amy smart on a racetrack as opposed to chinatown.
- danwallace, on 08/28/2008, -0/+11I can't wait until Crank 4, when he bangs Amy Smart while re-entering the atmosphere with nothing but sheer, sexy determination keeping them alive.
- chamberlanderic, on 08/28/2008, -0/+10you had me at Monica Bellucci...no you didn't need to say her name.
- inactive, on 08/28/2008, -1/+10It's going to be hard to top Crank 1 unless Amy Smart gets doggie styled in public again!!!
And I guess he survived a half a mile fall out of the helicopter!?!
hey guys i got it right this time ;) - failedpimp, on 08/28/2008, -0/+9In Crank 3 he nails Amy Smart while Skydiving!
