It was the best clip in my opinion (not like that ever seems to stop people from arguing with me) and really actually made some pseudo-believable sense.

Now what does Sid represent? He is constantly trying to kill the toys or cause some type of damage to them, and his sister? WTF is up with her toys... body modification?
How about the end? Buzz and Woody together as friends but now there's a puppy?

She was a helpless farm girl that was inadvertently sent to some far away place but actually she just hit her head and was dreaming the whole time. Luke Skywalker knew exactly what he was getting himself into and walk right into it. Dorothy killed two people. By accident. Luke blew up the ***** deathstar.
