AMC Theaters to Add 100 New IMAX Screens!

slashfilm.com — IMAX has inked a deal with AMC theaters to install 100 digital IMAX screens over the next three years. The screens will be installed in the company’s top-performing theaters in 33 top U.S. markets. The first 50 screens will be installed next year, 25 more in 2009, and 29 more in 2010.

  • sluggysan, on 12/07/2007, -0/+4I saw 300 in IMAX and felt like I was actually in Sparta. Then the scene came on with those weird wizard guys on top of that mountain and I realized I was just watching a CGI movie on a really big screen.
