dude that is awsome. I have seen some nice console mods, but that one is ***** cool. I wouldnt atempt it b/c I dont have extra cash lyin around to buy a new 360 if I f*cked it up.

That is the coolest ***** mod I have seen. I would buy that third party in a minute.

Is the 360 really loud enough to justify this massive watercooling setup? It seems hard to believe you could hear the fans over the game's sound effects and music.

Very very nice. I like that the design was simple and effective. As for the radiators, I guess the point is to keep them silent, but Im sure even a little airflow would make dramatic differences in the cooling.

This guy did a good job, probably because of 2 key factors.. patience and perseverance. Gratz to him.

Wow, seriously I havn't seen such a professional looking mod in awhile. That could almost be a shipping product, and bet people would buy it. The over heating thing is still a concern, I wonder is there is any air flow in the box now with fans un-installed. If over heating becomes a problem, he could always try attaching some fins to other components. But again, awsome job!

Nice idea, clean design..... but why not just find two silent fans that fit and install that since you're looking for a quieter box?

That is a very nice and clean mod. The main source of noise for my 360 is the DVD drive though.

That's because the 360 doesn't have heating problems. It never did. Good job Sony marketing...

This is a very well executed mod. However, He could achieve much greater efficiency with some slight modifications to the water circuit. Attatching the resovoirs in a series would be more desirable as it would increase flow through the block. It would also be beneficial to eliminate the 90 degree anges in the water channel, perhaps with the use of a router bit. With these and some slight modification to the water block this setup would be quite supportive of an overclock.

I just ordered most of the parts online, but the bad news is that they wont be here for 3 to 4 weeks! Cant wait, I have done this with some pc's but never on a gam console.

This is one of the few clean installs I've seen for water cooling, and plus its on a gaming console! He really deserves credit and fame, because I know exactly how hard it is to have a cleanly installed water cooling system.

Wowee that's pretty "cool" (get it?) too bad I couldn't do it, though, because I don't have one. (And I don't want one)

If you can hear the sound from a stock gaming console your speakers need work, not the console!!!

Was he able to get before/after temps on this rig? I thought that he mentioned peak load temps of 60C, which is kind of hot. What was it before? Can you tell?

I don't like the xbox and I'm never gonna get an xbox 360. But thats a very good mod. I don't like the look of the cyclinders though, they remind me of ruffled chips :X

Water cool the dvd drive, it's the loud one in the case....

in 2 weeks i'll take it to the next step. i'll make a xbox 360 jacuzzi mod. heated by the power supply alone. i love the xbox. i'm an xbox guy.

I don't really mind if it doesn't reduce noise that much (due to the DVD drive), I just love the look. How badass one would seem when their friends come over to play a pimped out 360...

weak story for a lack luster machine

i just got my 360 yesterday and it is working just fine and does not have any overheating problems what so ever. BUT it does make a noise that can be heard from a distance. but this sound is covered up with sound effects and music
