- PhogHawk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4You CAN nuke apps like notes, youtube, whatever. You just have to edit the display.plist file (I think that's the one).
- mingistech, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3um yea... we have that ability.

- sourmash, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This is very cool... note that the first link to the pxl file is an older version that does not support the screen shot feature. Be sure to go to the source page first http://svn.natetrue.com/dock and look for dock.pxl to get the latest one.

This rocks! - DonCarcharo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2That has all the branding panache of an open-sourced app.
- DonCarcharo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Obviously there's a grass-roots effort to create third party apps for the iPhone. And as people move forward they're running into issues like this that seem broken by design. For example, there's no room for additional applications but it's not an oversight on Apple's part, it's a feature. So I guess my question is, what is Apple doing about all this? Are they planning to support third party apps at all?
I haven't been following iPhone development that closely but it seems obvious that all these hacks will shortly be rendered useless once the platform gets an official solution form Apple. That is, if they'll be providing a solution at all. What's the word? - mingistech, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2or you can do it through iFunstatic or other GUI apps for the iPhone.
- macslut, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This is a pretty cool *early release*. I don't think it's quite ready (relative to other iPhone hacks). It installed fine and sure enough scrolled (again very cool), but it was quite buggy in terms of messing with other apps (especially other 3rd party ones). Fortunately, it uninstalled just fine. I look forward to installing newer releases.
- nosugref, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5Sweet, Im excited that non Appletonians are doing all this great stuff to better the iPhone. Question...Does the scrolling work on each row? what about columns?
- HairyPoter, on 12/26/2008, -0/+1check this Photoshop Guide for iPhone

Excellent way to refresh the springboard instead of holding down the power button........My screen shots isn't working...Anyidea.. I can hear the snapshot but can't find it...
- Photar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1rBST FTW!
- chadu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1very promosing, but a bit buggy (didn't always want to go away after launching an app). i used it for a couple hours, but eventually uninstalled it. cool idea and kudos to the developers. keep up the good work!
- vineetb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Was hanging on install. Restarting the iphone fixed it.
- diggitizer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3What iPhone has going for it:
Amazing platform, so good people bought it knowing it would be unlocked eventually
OSX in your hand
Web centric, amazing media player
Ultra tech
Sexy, beautiful, feel good design
Status.
You don't like the last one? What 'sneakers' are you wearing? Swishy? then &%*&% off - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1it crashed my iphone im having to restore now..... better off useing the workspaces with ifuntastic
- HairyPoter, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1It is amazing, but two months after launch there are already about 600 iphone applications around. Check it out at http://addfone.com
- 711groove, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Or perhaps the option to display as a list, like palm OS has had for years.
- pr0n9z, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0this is awesome just download it. it need a little tweaking other than that it is sweet
- dansmeek, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1they won't release an official SDK for a while. but it doesn't seem to matter. the iphone software is pretty straight forward and easy to program with.
Apple has hired some companies to make specific iPhone apps, including EA Sports. A real software company could possibly produce some cool sh*t. Like a driving game that uses the accelerometer to turn. there's really some cool possibilities.
Apple will obviously come up with their own way of "seemlessly" integrating features when you have >20 apps. I would imagine that you will be able to scroll to the different "pages" just as you do photos. - mhmdkhamis, on 11/05/2007, -0/+0http://directory.paramegsoft.com
great - JapesSaysDan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0do these work with the iPod touch?
- afruff23, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Please, unlocking has been pretty slow for something so many people bought. You can't even run apps off memory.
It is not OSX in your hand. If so, where are all the apps that work on OSX?
Amazing media player? Have you heard of TCPMP? It plays just about everything, streams, and as a playlist.
Web Centric? The browser s nice. I have to admit it, but it is damn useless with EDGE speeds and no QWERTY.
It is beautiful. "Feel good design"? WTF?
"Status". iPhones are too common nowadays to be considered a status icon. - DOT-POD, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1MUPromo have a truly wicked iPhone 24 hour Promo on now at http://www.mupromo.com
- TannerC, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1I can see it now: "New iPhone app that lets you modify your breakfast-cereal/parents/bank account."
- afruff23, on 10/10/2007, -7/+2Digg me down or whatever, but the iPhone really has nothing going for it. People say that the UI is great, but look at how non-user friendly this hack makes it look like.
The only things I can think of that the iPhone has going for it is the web-browsing and glass screen. - totorototoro, on 10/10/2007, -8/+2What we really need is the ability to nuke some of the useless buttons, like "Notes", "Calculator" and "YouTube". :p
- quickfix98, on 10/10/2007, -11/+1Cool, that works for me!
