- herm1t, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31Be aware that after the voice says the message, it says the IP address from where it was sent. Proxy up, cowboy!
- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+23ojk, an IP address is hard to put a name to unless they have a really criminal charge against you... Your ISP isn't going to give your name to a pizza joint.
- breakfast, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23Cool, I can anonymously order pizza now!
- dw2005, on 10/12/2007, -5/+23For the US & Canada only
:( - skytimelapse, on 10/12/2007, -4/+21Awesom!!
Oh wait I forgot, I'm not 13. Nevermind - pdaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11It is badly programmed, the site www.cdyne.com provides this service, works better and should be dugg. And yes, the IP is read out too.

- twtmc, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16pfft I'm 14 and i love this! :P
- kodek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Read what the xml page says. Is it successfully queued? It works fine, but make sure the caller ID is right.
Also, it bans you if you try too often or use it too much. - Hamsterpotpies, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8here is a way to fix the 10 call limet, get your self a copy of http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ send some calls, and then run Ccleaner. Works perfect.
- HiT0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Seems they've added a disclaimer in bold on the cdyne.com site that the script calls in to:
A reminder about abuse: Threats and illegal activity can be shared with the authorities.
That was not there when I first looked at the site 30 minutes ago either. - TeenageDeathBoy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Looks cool but it probably saves the phone numbers that you call and uses them for phone soliciting or sells them to solicitors. Maybe not but I just wanted to point that out.
- insidesource, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Who said something about Moe the Bartender from The Simpsons?
- Burn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If the phone lines were down, wouldn't the Internet be down as well? If you were on a broadband connection such as Cable, Wireless or Satillite wouldn't it be easier to use VoIP?
- Murdats, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5apparently it isnt enough said if you had to say it again
- Cronos1388, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9I got it to work fine in Firefox
- hutectro, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6To all Digg users this program is used to log phone numbers for phone advertisement be care full what

Yup. Yuuuup... Mmmhmmm.. True.. - dnthomps, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5why dont you just block the cookies?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4it saves your number to give to telemarketers
- Alex2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I'd probably use it to send an 'Im ok' message to friends if my local phone lines were out due to disaster.
- itsmekirby, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8How old are you?
No really. This service could have done some good but it's being abused to the point where I don't think it can be free anymore. The people who need this service will be paying for your fun time. Say sorry to your deaf grandma (or mother, if applicable), - digger_twit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Mirror:
http://www.duggmirror.com/mods/Prank_Phone_Calls_Geek_Style/ - balognytts, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7I just get an xml page. Is it compatible with firefox?
- jarcoal, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5MRWAKEUP.COM YIPPIE!
- jayjohnson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4a guy i knew used to do this. he'd call his uncle with all kinds of messed up stuff. like how his mother and sister were calling him from the dead. freaked him out really bad. later, his uncle found out and beat him up really bad. same site and everything, actually, he did it alot. crazy.
- felesaerius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3yeah, except you feel slightly embarassed "testing" that service out. lol.
- lalee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Is this the new way they're sending messages to "Mein Frauleine"? :o)
- saligamaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah...so believe it or not I just used this on a friend. I forget exactly what I said, but it was along the lines of "Hello [my friend's name], this is the voice of death. Your number has been drawn. Eat lots of re fried beans." I was talking to her on line when it happened and she started telling me about it. So I thought it was funny so I did it again. I thought the voice of death thing could been seen as a death threat so I made the next one a little funnier. It went something like, "[My friend's name], July 18 (her birthday) is a very important day. Eat lots of re fried beans and ice cream." So she leaves the conversation on MSN and returns to tell me that he dad confiscated her phone and received the second phone call. It really freaked her out because she says she has received phone calls like that for the past 3 nights, except real voices. She then tells me that her dad is on the phone with the police and they are on their way over. Her mom is on the phone with her cell service provider trying to get call logs or something. I don't know. What are the chances. This just hap pend about 10 minutes ago, so I have no idea what's up.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Sprint relay is much better.
https://www.sprintip.com/index.jsp - saligamaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3This thing is great. I used it on a friend and she got me back bigtime with it by acting oblivious and saying her dad clled teh cops cause she has been getting harrassing phone calls.
- xr56n44, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5the lamest comedy of all is prank phone calls
just look at crank yankers, boring stupid show - da_bradler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4what happens if I call a phone sex line with this?
- Plastic3D, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Anyone follow the cdyne.com link on the page? Here is a quote from within their website:
"The Demographix Web service is ideal for customer profiling, online personalization, telemarketing, collections and cross-selling applications. Drawing from U.S. Census demographics and high quality national consumer data, records can be appended with neighborhood and household information to create “best customer” demographics and identify prime prospects for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Records may also be appended with telephone numbers to help detect fraud and/or facilitate telemarketing. "
You Fools!! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I wouldnt trust putting my number in this.. especially since a guy with no privacy policy is forwarding your information to the company that actually has the program..
- JC-Sharp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Oh god, this is bloody awesome. My friends all now have stalkers!

- apache2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2hahaha. the text I put in was "I am the muffin man, and the muffin man LOVES YOU!"
I'll bet she had to hold in the laughter. I said I was just trying out the service, and then she texted my computer "I'm just trying out the service"
took me a while to make her understand that I was on both ends. hahahahah, muffin man - mikebeauchamp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3group 519 group 519

- SneezingTree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2For now, I'm not touching this thing with a ten foot pole. I'd imagine it charges the phone that you call, and it sends it to advertisers, ETC.
- truebullfan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2can anyone confirm this wont send the numbers to marketing?
- Badaudio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i think the man got his point across
