- cogen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+45It's called a "hobby". People probably have "better things" to be doing, but hobbies are necessary to let one take a break from one's real work.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+42I used a toolshed as a case once.
- woodsja, on 10/12/2007, -4/+41...a laptop for Andre the Giant...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+38Thats funny....you claim its not worthy of the front page...yet...its on the front page...so...lemme check something..brb........................yep....its front page worthy
- spengy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+31As much as I think this is ridiculous, I gotta give these case modding guys some respect.
Because I could never make anything look cool like that.
Also, liquid colling is just really neat ;) - mcbesq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+22
"don't people have better things to do"
Like what? Making fake pictures of Apple products to "leak" onto the interweb? - clevershark, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Better things to do... you mean like bitching on a tech web site about someone actually making something new, for example?
- lonnieh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18OMG... your right! This isn't a Mac, so it must be ugly.
- thexder, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Looks like Doc Oc in a box
- teh_toaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15needs a built in handtruck.
And more cowbell! - VyRuZ, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16we didn't ask you
- shoover, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16And if nobody asks you? You'll say it anyway!
- Jamie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I hope that guy has a pick up truck, he'll never transport it in a normal vehicle!
- Numbers_of_pi, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17That's a server tower though. This is just a PC.
- Crazy_8, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11@ifonly:
Answer: No. We don't have aything better to do. - zweben, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10For the giant? Give him one of those 12x19 Wacom tablets for the trackpad and for the mouse... well... get windows drivers for the original xbox controller. That should fit nicely in his hands.
- lonnieh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Yes, phase-cooling is extremely mainstream, it is barely high-tech.
- brandizzle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Gah. Most of the people on here think doing this is FUN. You can't put a price on happyness. It's a hobby, some people mod cases while others troll on Digg.
- mcbesq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9It needs some hexagons etched into the plexiglass. Definitely needs hexagons.
- imafish2002, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I struggle to take my lian li and custom phase unit around with me, that guy must be built like a house :P
(i do realise he doesnt carry it around by hand btw!) - Crazy_8, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8My friend once had a case about as tall as this one made by A-Open. It didn't need to be moded, it was just made that tall in the first place. But it certianly did not look this nice.
- hcel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7worlds smallest 386, 20 years later...
- T0PS3O, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8[understatement]Not bad! For a first mod...[/understatement]
- shoover, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Your voice counts for one in what... 8 million? You're gonna have to come to terms with that at some point boyo!
- Zanneth, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Lian Li cases are already extremely huge, I can't believe this guy decided to make it bigger! I like the color scheme.
- m85476585, on 10/12/2007, -0/+412 pages = 12 times the ad revenue.
- cr3ative, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5You there. Get over yourself.
:) - dignation, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5That things massive. It has a cool industrial look to it though
- eXCeSS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3UHG, those 90 degree bends are probably making his gallons/hour into hours/gallon.
With all that money and time someone should have done some more research. - blackpipe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4the keyboard? Several DDR mats strung together with letters in place of arrows.
- sv650touring, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4One guy diggs nothing but Mac articles. The other guy diggs anything but Mac articles. But still I'm a bigger dork than either one, because I bothered to find this little fact out... And just to prove it: I thought the case looked like it belonged in Star Trek First Contact. Remember when the Borg took over the Enterprise? It's the hoses. BTW, lonnieh, nice "your"
- ronin2040, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3you're SO right--i mean, that 12 page build log and custom wiring shows a total lack of skill and workmanship. And custom lighting? Totally ugly. You should give him some pointers on making a pimped out case--no lights, wires scattered--that would be awesome.
/sarcasm
Seriously tho.... my hatred for glowing PCs has just taken a hit--thats one well done case. - ronin2040, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3...as well as spock, the rock, AND hulk hogan!
couldn't resist :D
(wonder if anyone gets the joke o.0) - ronin2040, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I SOOOO agree with you. Trolling in comments on digg is SUCH a better use of time! You have much to teach us!
/sarcasm - SAOSiN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So those cool LED lights and side window dont make your pc more enjoyable to look at?
- ihate2regist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3and people think my PC-70b is big
- Nighthawke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2o.O
*falls over*
That is got to be one of the nicest hybrid cooling systems that i've seen to date!
He's taken the elements of case modding, and melded them into a sweet getup. Only then he threw his own elements into the kit and he got a result that isfantastic. - SAOSiN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wouldn't say it the way he did but yea if you don't have something nice to say...dont say it.
- GutshotJimmy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I just have to say I almost creamed my pants looking at this case mod. It's the Lamborghini Countach of computers, just completely ridiculous and over the top. I love all the chrome and the mirrored plexiglass. Bling!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is what happens when your wife throws you out of the bed.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Must be one of those 1 minute men......... If that is cool to you, you set your standards too low. :p
- ronin2040, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I bet with your delightfully constructive comments, you're popular with the ladies as well!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yea, it's a bit ungodly large - this is a case of "didn't know when to quit"
- lonnieh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"Anything but mac" ? Yeah, I'm going to digg everything I'm not interested in. Thanks for fixing "your" for me, genius.
- ronin2040, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I noe, rite? He shud hav totaly squished it onto one page, d00d!
/sarcasm
Ever think that perhaps people dont enjoy having to wait a while for a massive ass article to load? Some of us are stuck on crappy ass fractional T1s here -_-

- beerbelly37, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The time and effort he put in to that is worth the digg! Grats, man... you did something that most folks can't and won't do. Don't worry about the haters out there, walk with pride knowing that you followed a dream, and made it a reality.
- digitaldivider, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1god, and I thought my Raidmax case was a ***** beast to haul around..
- Catalyst, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own.........
