- KibibyteBrain, on 11/03/2008, -0/+5I think its too large scale to fly. It would require much more advanced jet engines that would require serious reengineering of the structure to be supported. Plus, those jet engines are also hella expensive, and require custom machining, and usually operate well above the melting point of the materials used in the engine, and so require advanced engineering tricks like laminar flow insulation.
