Apparently now all images of Penguins are images of Tux.
The Exxon tie-in is that somebody traced the creator of the parody back to a guy who works for a lobbying firm that counts Exxon/Mobil as a client. This sparked conspiracy theories that Exxon/Mobil was responsible for the Parody.

Nobody is claiming images of penguins are Tux, but in the video an unmodified version of the Linux penguin (trademarked) was used. Someone is making a Digg case, but it looks pretty bad.

Interestingly in one of the first images, when Bender is a paper model, the door - if it could - would open the correct way. I wonder why he changed it. It was probably an accident, or there was some reversing going on. - Pburgdwller, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1That's a decent mod, but I believe that Leela and Bender could have been better. It could have been one of those projects that you didn't count on causing that much trouble and was tired of working on it. So you just rush it to the finish. Better than I could do though.

Lol when I first started using digg it was beta and it was front page after like 5 diggs, I was number 1 for like 2 weeks until I stopped submitting didn't have time to troll threw news sites all day now my news comes from here almost exclusively.
