- Twoodge, on 10/26/2007, -0/+21Are you saying my eMachines isn't stylish?
- heatman, on 10/26/2007, -1/+22Excellent job....
I love watching professionals take you through their design and implementation process, especially at that caliber. Very cool.
Kinda wish a little more thought went into the "Dark Blade" logo...looks a bit hokey, especially for such a top-notch mod job.
Small gripe though...I love the cooling tanks. - K4P741NxKRUNCH, on 10/27/2007, -2/+21..Where the hell was the motherboard??
- totaljerkface, on 10/26/2007, -6/+18dork blade
- MrIso, on 10/26/2007, -0/+10This is just the article for the tank and pump for the cooling fluid, the actual computer is in a seperate case, as seen here: http://www.g69t.it/public/Scimitar/G69T_DESK02_L.j ...

- MerryMortician, on 10/25/2007, -1/+10really? is it really? That I will EVER see? so I may as well die now? (cool case anyhow)
- Ouze, on 10/26/2007, -1/+9whoops. In replies to other comments several people linked to the completed project (http://www.g69t.it/public/Scimitar/G69T_DESK02_L.j ... I kinda hate to say it, as someone who also likes to do artistic things, but frankly, that finished case is butt ass ugly, especially the stand.
- adamsacres, on 10/25/2007, -0/+7I like it. Nice to add some style to the machine we can't live without.
- Jimgress, on 10/25/2007, -2/+9I love the effort, but why is it that these people who have such brilliant talent in construction have such an insanely poor sense of design?
Seriously the amount of work is worth applause but the end result is just god awful neon *****. It's just hideous. - chedabob, on 10/27/2007, -0/+7It's in the top segment. They only showed the reservoir section in that article.

I think it was much nicer before he put those huge legs on the bottom - inactive, on 10/26/2007, -2/+8This guy is too rich.
- adambrennan, on 10/25/2007, -1/+7Followed this from the beginning. Awesome result.
- MEchanicalART, on 10/25/2007, -0/+6I think is just the cooling unit..see the hose going out of the picture?!
- Ouze, on 10/25/2007, -2/+7Although described in both the article and the title of this submission.... THIS ISN'T A CASE MOD. I read all of it, and at no point does he ever insert, you know... computer components. It seems to be an external, freestanding radiator/watercooling block.
That being said, it was completely awesome. Until the end, when he anodized all the external components and killed the whole thing, imo. It looked fantastic when it was all bare aluminum and steel, and he mentions in some parts how the lighting would look great when reflected off the bare metal, but then he anodized 90% of the external parts in a very dark color. It seriously brought the whole project down quite a few notches, which is a shame because the methodology and design is truly remarkable. - Gumby_Mac, on 10/25/2007, -0/+4Crazy amount of work and detail, but fugly IMHO. Hate the BMX grips on the corners and it looks like there should be some alien fetuses pickling in the cooling tanks. I'd take Twoodge's eMachine anyday.
- jonr, on 10/25/2007, -0/+4Must have been fun to make. Although I'm more of a minimalist type myself...
- flangepiece, on 10/25/2007, -1/+5I would much rather have a mini-itx mounted inside a humidor.
And no, that's not some kind of euphemism for freaky sex. - inactive, on 10/26/2007, -1/+5holy ***** man i want that guys shop
that is ***** sweet.. - Kijael, on 10/26/2007, -0/+4http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=76374& ...
The 4th post down has pictures of the full system. It's a behemoth - Ouze, on 10/26/2007, -2/+5the worst thing about apple is people like you
- mlvassallo, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4Couldn't come up with a better name? How about the "Hell Thresher"?
- burke, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3Frankly, I expected a bit more after reading the title/description, but that wasn't bad.
- lostarchitect, on 10/26/2007, -8/+11Wow! That's amazingly ugly!
- Frezzle, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=158839 ...
- inactive, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2The end result is OK. If he gave ti to me for free, i would buy it. I certainly wouldent put the amount of time and money into such a thing as what he did.
- pault107, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2Oh not you again, you got banned the other week as jordanshoes006. All of roses comments are spam:

The full thing. - ninjadave, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2I agree. Things were really looking good by the end of the thanks. I really liked the high sheen coupled with the exposed water. Then it took a turn for the worse with the fluted columns. It didn't match the blades, imo. Then it started going anodized. Then it was given awful cheezy computer mod hax0r green and blue lights. And here I thought it would be a super classy Italian inspiried design. Something like the high fashion and car designs out of Italy. I think he had it, then lost it by exposing it to the online community for feedback while designing.
- Frezzle, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2thats only the bottom half. theres still the top (the actual computer). and the legs that go under it. check out the forum thread to see the compleated computer. http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=158839 ...
- mrbad101, on 10/25/2007, -2/+4Wow, definitely cool. I sure hope some custom case manufacture approaches him and buys the rights to this design, although I can't totally blame him if he doesn't let them.
- Godlesswanderer, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2Please don't tell me you're serious.
- rogersj3, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2Actually completed on page 99...

http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=76374 - deadbaby, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2If he gave it to me for free I'd put it on eBay and buy a nice Antec case with the profits. I'm not trying to bash the guy for his hard work but like the original poster said: Almost all these custom cases look terrible.
- rogersj3, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2Completed pics: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=76374& ...
- 3style, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2ehh its just ok, I like some of the other work more
- AdamFromMyspace, on 10/25/2007, -1/+2I liked the big V-twin motor one better.
- inactive, on 03/04/2008, -0/+1Bravo for the hard work, however, with all due respect, I personally find it amazingly fugly...
- deadbaby, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1I have one word to describe this case: Tacky.
- gibsonic, on 10/25/2007, -0/+1all links dead...anyone got a WORKING mirror
- FortyCaliber, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1Or "fellatio"
- IneffablePolk, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1It looks like something out of a bad sci-fi movie. Why would anyone want that in his house?
- CYR1X, on 10/30/2007, -0/+1Wow this brings back memories, I used to frequent bit-tech and a couple of years ago and remember when this was a WIP.
- ismith, on 10/26/2007, -0/+1Damn good work as far as the building goes, but I have to say it looks pretty ugly. I wouldn't call this the craziest mod I've ever seen...
- Hiren, on 10/26/2007, -2/+2This is just part 1, and only the bottem section.
The rest of the computer is still to come. - Frezzle, on 10/25/2007, -3/+3If you have a few hours to waste i recomend reading the intire thread. its onyl 2000 posts at 100 pages. a great read!
- alexanEmpire, on 10/25/2007, -1/+1I can has mirror?
- Godlesswanderer, on 10/25/2007, -1/+1Uglier?!
Dude, I would kill for a rig like that. - wild, on 10/25/2007, -2/+2Holy crap! Its even worse looking that way. Its an Xbox underneath and ouside air conditioning unit. They should have called it the Trane 360.
