- xtreme777, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Who would throw out a perfectly working R.O.B. on the side of the street!
- Numbski, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's working, but not all that interesting. :
The reason I say this is that the thing has optical sensors. Sure, you can make rob go up, down, left, right, pick up, let go, etc. Nice.
HOWEVER.......OPTICAL SENSORS!!! :)
You could take the whole "watchdog daemon" thing and make it quite lteral. ;) But he disconnected it instead. :(
Gotta be a way to get those optical sensors working. :D Dugg to get more interest. Should I place a bounty on getting this working via usb? :) (LPT -> USB cables don't count!) - shawgo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4it is working now.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Or in my case "Robot cannot be found"
- freeboarder1402, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1gosh for those of us who just happen to have a R.O.B lying around. i wouldn't buy one just for this my local game shop has one for around $100!!
- Geeshboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Oh man. ROB hardly did anything for the NES. It was just a fancy way of pushing buttons in Gyromite. It would seem to be a stretch to expect any real practical use from it.
- Pyrogen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Who still has a perfectly working R.O. B. and whatever else was in a NES Deluxe box?
- entozoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I do.. I have the whole NES Deluxe set. You wanna buy it off me? it'll cost you like £200
