http://www.darkroastedblend.com/2007/11/strange-ta ... - zappo1776, on 02/08/2008, -2/+26I wonder how fast the Ferrari tank goes.
- fkr3, on 02/08/2008, -0/+16Digg really needs a 'bury for scraping content' option that gets the fake-source banned and the real-source replacing it.
Then we could finally kill crap like this, engadget, gizmodo and their perpetual stream of summarising someone else's work and obscurely crediting them for ad impressions. - Houndstooth, on 02/08/2008, -0/+12About 2/3 of the way down, the one that looks like a tractor cab on top of a tank - Motorized “schlittenfahrt”. Yep the ominous Schlittenfahrt tank!
- Commonwealth, on 02/08/2008, -0/+12I'm going to get one of those when I'm old. I'll cruise down the street and block all the traffic, but I won't give a damn because I have a tank chair and I'm old.
- Misinformant, on 02/08/2008, -0/+12Thank god, Captain Obvious. You got here just in time!

Wow, those guys are tiny! - inactive, on 02/08/2008, -1/+10how the hell did a tank with wings even make it past the drawing board?
- Pinkertinkle, on 02/08/2008, -0/+9That goliath is not a tiny tank, it's a mobile anti vehicle mine.
- Beakerz, on 02/08/2008, -0/+8The tank chair? ***** i could use that everywhere!
- Sabrejack, on 02/08/2008, -0/+7Buried for annoying hard to find automatic start music player

- FranksValli, on 02/08/2008, -0/+6About halfway down, some background music started playing out of nowhere. Annoying! Arggg
- cambob76, on 02/08/2008, -0/+6I like tanks because they can run over stuff. :)
- jjustice, on 02/08/2008, -0/+6"Around" 40? Couldn't be bothered to count? =]
In your defense, the author should have numbered them [him|her]self. - ASHPD1, on 02/08/2008, -0/+6dugg for the tank chair. someone notify Mr. Hawking.
- davidsmero, on 02/08/2008, -0/+6Did I mention the tank is a tank?
Sold! - mungins, on 02/08/2008, -2/+7Where can I buy this tank chair?
- abstracthuman, on 02/08/2008, -0/+5If impractible was a word, I'm sure you'd have positive diggs.
- JonyMill, on 02/08/2008, -0/+5I guess we are lucky this never made the list, because it was never built.
Scary how far the Nazi war machine got.

I thought the second page more interesting than the first - Janizzary, on 02/08/2008, -2/+6Flying Russian tank??? Dude who designed that one was downing too much "Wodka".
- wonkman, on 02/08/2008, -3/+7Gee, Tanks a lot.
- Commonwealth, on 02/08/2008, -5/+9"schlittenfahrt" Ha!
- SaxmanTrav, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Is there a particular reason why you called yourself an ***** or do you just hate yourself?
- ToddCamack, on 02/27/2009, -0/+3Not every tracked vehicle is a "tank".
- ggoyal, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Actually its the other way around. He went from war being at with the UK to being at war with UK & USSR. The Red Army wiped him off.
- spoonyinc, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3I suppose I should have clarified, but I meant the tiny tank ABOVE the tank chair. Notice how I said the "guy actually sitting in the tiny tank." Partly my fault, but descriptive words and context clues should be more than enough to comprehend what I was referring to.
I added this because the connotation of the guy sitting in the tank made it seem like soldiers used these miniature tank for maneuvering and sitting (which is what you do on a chair, huh?), which is ridiculous. I just thought I would clarify on what they were used for an add to the knowledge base. *sigh* - silarulz, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3The Moron owner of that page just "cut and pasted" content from www.darkroastedblend.com!
Dugg Down! - sunnytar, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Actually, it was built and tested and it worked. Of course, it couldn't take off by it's own, it was to be deployed from a plane. just before landing it would start spinning the tracks as fast as possible, and "hit the ground running" :). After landing it would lose the wings and the tail and go into the battle as a light tank, supporting operations behind enemy lines.
- angrynorwegian, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3so according to this article pretty much anything with treads is a tank?
- tehbored, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3That image is from the book My Tank is Fight! btw. Also, it's probably a bad thing that the Nazis didn't invest more resources into that project since that would have meant a swifter and easier victory for the allies. The landkreuzer was preposterously wasteful and not very useful.
- Munkym, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3sounds better than the equivalent English translation of "Moving Carriage"
- meteors, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Hitler famously loved advanced weapons programs. It's been suggested that if he hadn't burned so much money and resources on them, he could have stood a chance of winning the war.
Personally I don't think he could have won under any circumstances; the fate of the war was effectively set when he went from being at war with the USSR to being at war with the USA, UK, and USSR.
By the way, the alliance of these three countries is the backbone of global security still today. - yogurtslinger, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3No Badonkadonk tank?
http://www.amazon.com/JL421-Badonkadonk-Land-Cruis ... - iamtheguyy, on 02/08/2008, -0/+3Trouble is Hitler had all the advanced stuff already but got greedy, should have cranked out more panzers and less macholand crazyness. Wasn't the Panzer 4, then 5 then Tiger, owning everything we had?? Their airforce was also well engineered.
- InfinitySnatch, on 02/08/2008, -1/+4My Tank Is Fight!
- meteors, on 02/08/2008, -1/+3Their Air Force was a non-factor for much of the war. The allies conquered their airspace fairly early on, and the Germans never dropped a single bomb on the US.
Yes, they had the most advanced tanks of the war, but they were too expensive (notice a theme here?) America produced something like 60,000 of the mediocre Shermans, which, in numbers did the job. - meteors, on 02/08/2008, -0/+2Nazi Germany was the superpower of its day. Notice on those WW2 documentaries all that footage of allied bombers dropping thousands and thousands and thousands of bombs, and thousands and thousands of allied tanks rolling. This was the pre-nuclear age, and when you had to defeat a superpower, that's how you did it.
- Riffraffs, on 02/09/2008, -0/+2buried as soon as the music in an ad started to play
