They will buy any broken, damaged or used ipod in any condition (really I have gotten good prices for sad face ipods, cracked LCD, even water damaged ipods). That could be option 51.

Apple don't seem too supportive of community hacks and havn't added any open formats to their players in like 10 generations.
Compared to good players around (like iaudio) the ipods look on par to a bit worse style wise and value for money wise are kicked the ***** out of.
Support something really geeky, don't waste time adding features to a player that is generally inferior (and the makers of do not support adding of features to in general) and costs more and instead buy with a little knowledge and promote players that do a good job.
