- mbst2000, on 08/14/2009, -11/+42As an iPhone user (and a very happy one at that) it's good that Microsoft are trying to up their game on this. Sure, I can pretty much say that I will never, ever buy it. But you have to have a little competition and if it keeps Apple on their toes then great.
It will never be a mass market product like the iPod, it's simply too ingrained now and what with US only distribution and not enough truly wow features to win over iPod users, it can't be a financial threat. - hybrid45, on 08/14/2009, -1/+11@Zephik: Actually, in terms of sound quality, the new zune uses the same chipset as the older zune. Take a look around, the audio chipset is what determines the sound quality. Even apple diehards admit that the zune's audio has better fidelity than the ipods.
