Youtube Censor Bypass for MSN+ Users

forums.facepunchstudios.com — A user on the Facepunch Studios forums has posted a bypass script to encode and decode all Youtube links, allowing them to be sent without being blocked. The script can work even if the other user does not have it. More info on how it works in his post.

  • threepio, on 05/10/2008, -4/+5Here's the quicker work around: Drop live messenger for many of the alternatives not run by a company that thinks they can control what you say.

    Adium - for Macintosh. Supports AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber and more.
    Trillian - for PC. Supports most of the same services as Adium.

    It's time to turn MSN off folks. Let your contact list know who you are and where your going and how to go there with you.

    I selected the privacy issue option because you are, in a sense, invading my privacy by analyzing the contents of my messages when you try to limit messages containing links to Youtube, Deviantart, Googlepages, Mediafire, and eBuddy.

    What, do you think I will use your services (MSN spaces or whatever and the other lousy services?) because I can't talk about them on messenger? Newsflash, most people only use MSN because they use what most people used back in the day when it was ICQ, an unknown (at the time), versus a Microsoft product that everyone knew. If my friends weren't stuck on it because they can't be bothered to lose most of their contacts I wouldn't even log on.

    Guess what, you just gave me the much needed incentive to uninstall MSN and just run Miranda on my machine instead of just having it on my pendrive. I don't care about the voice chat or video so you just lost a costumer.

    BTW, I haven't given my msn addy in two years. Long live gmail!
