- shahruz84, on 12/17/2008, -15/+978that will never compile. How can it return LotsMoreMoney if the function is a void?
/sorry - chris9902, on 04/05/2008, -28/+465I'll digg it just for effort (it was also quite funny). It's better than the usual "Vista sucks, buy a Mac" crap we have on digg.
- fuzzmeister, on 04/05/2008, -10/+294I'm somewhat embarrassed that I actually noticed a bug in that code (a void with a return statement). I should probably get outside more.
- Soldierboi, on 05/09/2008, -15/+258Dugg for: BSOD();
- Anpheus, on 04/05/2008, -28/+217Yeah, C++ doesn't have an "extends" or "implements"
And I don't think it's even valid C#.
Epic fail by someone pretending to be a programmer. - mattbeetee, on 04/05/2008, -5/+177Dugg for:
//printf("Welcome to Windows 2000")
//printf("Welcome to Windows XP")
That's what boosted it that little bit higher than the other Vista-bashings for me. - getisboy, on 04/05/2008, -20/+179that's just how bad the vista code is
- brownr21, on 04/05/2008, -63/+210***** you.
- teamparadox, on 04/05/2008, -4/+144With this document I can simply change the last line of code and have it funnel money to me instead of MS...brilliant!
- maximize, on 04/05/2008, -14/+151Saying java is good because it works on all OSes is like saying anal sex is good because it works on all genders.
- getisboy, on 04/05/2008, -2/+109I'm more embarrassed that I skimmed the code and didn't notice the bug until I read the comments.
- vincentweber, on 04/05/2008, -12/+91No *****, Sherlock...
- bobkingof12vs, on 04/05/2008, -19/+95will someone ***** me?
- D3koy, on 04/05/2008, -28/+89I'm no programmer, but this doesn't seem like the real deal...
- 5urr3al5am, on 04/05/2008, -12/+70!! YOU SAID SOMETHING NON-NEGATIVE ABOUT MICROSOFT/US !! YOU MUST GET DUG DOWN!!
- Dested, on 04/05/2008, -0/+58He was also trying to return in a void.
- inactive, on 04/05/2008, -10/+63This is nerd humour at its finest
- pixelguru, on 04/05/2008, -11/+62I have a hard time believing that Redmond could write code which was that simple and easy to understand.
- merbot, on 04/05/2008, -3/+52When did C become OOP
- doshindude, on 04/05/2008, -9/+50dugg for the workingnewfeatures integer.
- HouseCentipede, on 04/05/2008, -5/+45Bring soda or die
- catachip, on 04/05/2008, -11/+48Wow... a lot of Microsoft apologists on Digg now. I thought it was all Mac and Linux users?
- brkhobowriter, on 04/05/2008, -4/+40No, you're a digger.
- replaysMike, on 04/05/2008, -7/+42Thank you for making my day, that was perfect :) I think what was missing should be at the end:
while(true) { popRandomSecurityMessage(); } - GodsDragon, on 04/05/2008, -0/+34tiz be the bastard child of C++, Java and vista puns.
- ha1f, on 04/05/2008, -3/+36I get the joke, but the people I know who work(ed) at Microsoft are some of the best coders you're going to find. I blame the project directors.
- alk509, on 04/05/2008, -1/+34I'm not your guy, buddy!
- ha1f, on 04/05/2008, -1/+33This is not Java. It's some kind of bastardization...
- kidcodea, on 04/05/2008, -1/+33the d word...
- Smegzor, on 04/05/2008, -13/+44Microsoft is pretending to be a programmer. Whats your point?
- Nitrodist88, on 04/05/2008, -1/+29Yes, that's in there too.
- remccain, on 04/05/2008, -2/+27I'm not your buddy, friend!
- SuperMoses, on 04/05/2008, -0/+25That's what compilers (and the two diggers that spotted this) are for
- gutterboy, on 04/05/2008, -55/+79Just switched to Vista this weekend. It is really nice. I have no clue why everyone feels the need to rip on it. It didn't revolutionize the OS industry but it is still a great OS.
- Minarchian, on 04/05/2008, -3/+26That's in an external dll called PerformanceReducingBloat.dll
You'll find a lot of stuff in that dll. - aLFaDaRK, on 04/05/2008, -8/+30This man speaks the truth. Java sucks ass.
- MaxPayne3476, on 04/05/2008, -6/+28Bitches Suck Our Dicks
- metalmilitia430, on 04/05/2008, -5/+27***** You Guy.
- combatchuck, on 04/05/2008, -3/+25I have Vista. To tell you the truth, there isn't much difference from XP for normal usage. Besides, you were probably one of the people bitching about how much of a performance hog XP was when it came out, and that it would never gain a foothold when 2000 and 98 were so obviously superior.
- chodges4, on 04/06/2008, -21/+43Why are you digging him down? I have vista and it is terrible. The service pack didn't even fix anything. It still takes way too long to start up and shut down...and I spend half of my time on my computer waiting for programs to start or end, not to mention all the times I'm in the middle of something and my whole computer freezes for three and a half minutes. And no I don't have any viruses...it's Vista.
- threemagic, on 04/05/2008, -5/+26Wow.. Vista is a lot more lean than I thought. I bet that could run on my calculator now
- raklos, on 04/05/2008, -4/+24So I wasn't the only one checking if it would compile ;) oh dear.
- Klarth, on 04/05/2008, -1/+21If you're not a geek you should have no reason to want to enjoy this. Give up.
- Plewt, on 04/06/2008, -0/+19http://bash.org/?338364
- the_d, on 04/06/2008, -1/+19sup
- shadowmoose, on 04/05/2008, -18/+35It was funny when they did this for windows 2000 but recycling this joke is just unneeded redundancy.
- andycr512, on 04/05/2008, -2/+19If it's Java, why is it using #include? It can't be, and it's no language I've ever seen.
- mhuggins, on 04/05/2008, -8/+25No wonder it doesn't work, there's no closing bracket anywhere for the "while (!CRASHED)" loop.
- vierce, on 04/05/2008, -16/+32it would be funny if it weren't true....
- whoreable, on 04/05/2008, -13/+28Sure its out now ....but who wants it?
