Utorrent 1.7 released
forum.utorrent.com — The biggest changes were full Vista support and the removal of the 65,536 piece limit for torrents. Also added was support for finding local peers (peers on the same LAN) and optionally not having any upload restrictions for them. It is also possible to turn on automatic updating for betas now, found in the "Other" section of the preferences.

- K3ITHK, on 10/11/2007, -68/+47Uhh, I think it's μTorrent, not Utorrent.
- brasso, on 10/11/2007, -2/+69Yeah, that or uTorrent. But it doesn’t really matter; everyone will understand it anyway.
- ic0n, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2True.
The reason is that if you searched for μTorrent rather than uTorrent, you wouldn't get a more comprehensive result. And I should of done it 'uTorrent'.
It's f*cked up how people still WANT submit the same story (like the release of utorrent 1.7) by linking to a changelog or even blogspam. :(- BlackOp, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2should've.
- ic0n, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2True.
- Vigilo, on 10/11/2007, -21/+88My god get a life.
- yingjai, on 10/11/2007, -8/+30Can't believe you took the time to open up Character Map to find Mu. If you're gonna say you typed it on the numpad, then that's even worse.
- danwallace, on 10/11/2007, -3/+11He probably just clicked the link and copy/pasted it from the top of the page. Seems to me that would be the smart thing to do. µµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµµ.
- masamunecyrus, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6He wouldn't have to. Just using standard HTML character knowledge and guessing, both μ and µ produce the desired letter -- µ.
- brasso, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2Right Alt + M = µ

- zforrester, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2you mean option?
alt is a modifier on the option key
- zforrester, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2you mean option?
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Well, on my Belgian azerty, I don't even need to press shift, µ is just right there, next to the Enter key :).
- jgc7, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12is it pronounced "micro torrent" or "you torrent" or "mu torrent"?
- Coded1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8micro, due to its very small size
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I believe all variations are tolerated.
- martyFREEDOM, on 10/11/2007, -13/+5How long did it take you to dig up the micro symbol? A hell of a lot more time than just typing uTorrent.
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+21 key on Belgian azerty, no alt, no shift, no nothing. µ ftw!

- jchrome, on 10/11/2007, -5/+13Cool, so then its μTorrent.com too then right? Don't be a whiny bitch.
- Jugalator, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Just because the name indeed is µTorrent doesn't mean the domain is, silly. However, I agree it's nitpicking.
- makis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1i think that's probably because domains need to be ascii 7bits.unicode domain names are not so widely used

- alexdemers, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Not the first time I see you comment on stupid things.
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Oh yes =).
- Xizer, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Uhh... What the hell is so hard about holding down the ALT key and pressing M? It's not any different than using the shift key to type a capital letter. ALT + M = µ
Then again, I guess people might still be using that pathetic default layout. US International is far superior.- zumpiez, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Let me go ahead and change my keyboard layout so I don't mistype the name of this BT client.
Jesus, people.

- lordtyros, on 10/11/2007, -4/+7Does the utorrent Vista Sidebar gadget work yet?
- Sk8SkaNJ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9Been working for me.
- griffeycom, on 10/11/2007, -8/+2It's never not worked for 1.6.1 for me!
- cyberdork, on 10/11/2007, -14/+52Where is the OSX beta version?
- r0ck3tm4nn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8It's a closed beta, I believe. For now anyway.
- cyberdork, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I know, but I still want it :-)
- vbsurfer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6have you tried transmission?
- cyberdork, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Yes, even use a nightly build with single files support. But still uTorrent always seems to be faster than Transmission. uTorrent and Quotetracker are the last two windows programs I use.
- vbsurfer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6have you tried transmission?
- xerox, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12what about the linux version?!
- DarkShroud, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5µTorrent 1.7 has been worked on to run under Wine.
- herdie, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8"Is there a Linux or Mac version?
The OSX port is in progress. A Linux port is currently not planned for the future.
However, it is possible to run µTorrent under Wine and Cedega." - firstpost, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Actually I read it will be an open beta, however it's still in pre-beta (or perhaps earlier) development.

- cyberdork, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I know, but I still want it :-)
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/11/2007, -40/+97its right there...with all your OSX games...you know, next to your 2 button mouse

"Ah, the queer mac lover" - cyberdork, on 10/11/2007, -5/+9Ehm, maybe because at some point a private beta will turn into a public beta?!?
- FeartheKnighted, on 10/11/2007, -16/+9Um..ok. Why the hell did you ask a question if you already knew the answer?
- Dradu, on 10/11/2007, -19/+9OSX games? There's thousands! http://macgamefiles.com/
Two Button Mouse? http://www.apple.com/mightymouse/
Anyway, we can play all the same games PC users can with CrossOver, and Parallels is developing more Direct X with every release. Not to mention Boot Camp.
Any USB mouse can work with a Mac, and I have NEVER used a one-buttoned mouse with my Mac.
So, I have my games and Two Button Mouse....where's my Utorrent OSX Beta?- breezy, on 10/11/2007, -7/+4Why do you need your Utorrent OSX Beta when you can use your parallels to run your windows with it anyway?
- zzap, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The MightyMouse is actually a one-button mouse. It just uses senses so it knows if you're left or right clicking.
- NoOneButMe, on 10/11/2007, -12/+3Cause, you know, _everyone_ uses the mouse that came with their computer, right?
- celkin, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16iPwned

- Snorglorf, on 10/11/2007, -10/+3If I install this, do I have to reimport all my torrents?

- Snorglorf, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Thanks, don't feel like showing it where 250+ torrents are hiding to re-seed them.
Need my OiNK ratio.- Protoss, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2Wow you're seeding 250 torrents just for OiNK? I just narrowed mine down to about 20.
- houndeyex, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I have about 80 going on OiNK.
- zforrester, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I like to seed, but have no OiNK to seed to

- baldr, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12nope
- DROWE859, on 10/11/2007, -18/+2Best new feature by far is individual download/upload limits for each torrent. I've wanted this feature for a while.
- DuraznosTJ, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8This was in 1.6 as well
- baldr, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2That is not a new feature, it has been there for months...
- andejp12, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1This has been there for a while now. I know for a fact that I've been using it. All you had to do was go into the torrent's properties.
- StepJoe, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2yah thats been possible for a while....I think someone said it above, right click is your friend. It's just a little deeper in one of the drop down list items
- DROWE859, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Wells balls guys. I can't believe I didn't see that, I must of put of updating until 1.7. =
- Emachine, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5Niiice...
- houndeyex, on 10/11/2007, -21/+4Why's this on the front page? It asks you to update automatically by default and the installation is nearly instant and totally painless. Anyone who uses it already knows.
- brasso, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Why are your comment on my screen? Everyone reading this obviously cares.
- JDPoetJD, on 10/11/2007, -3/+42Is this considered one of the best torrent clients out there?
- DarkCanuck12, on 10/11/2007, -0/+43Yes, been using for a couple years over Azeurus
- over9, on 10/11/2007, -22/+8Be aware that they sold out to RIAA/MPAA and is closed source. If you want to be safe use Azureus which is open source.
- Morphinity, on 10/11/2007, -7/+3Damn, I never knew that.
- h4rdcor3, on 10/11/2007, -1/+15proof?
- houndeyex, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Uh, I call *****.
- mrFREEZE, on 10/11/2007, -0/+8That's been proven to have been a big fat lie. Welcome to 2005.
- DarkShroud, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6Meanwhile the RIAA/MPAA use modded versions of Azureus to poison swarms.
And you're not going to honestly tell me Azureus hasn't sold out with their 3.xx versions are you?
- Anand999, on 10/11/2007, -3/+52It depends on what you're looking for really. Azureus has more features, especially when you consider that you can add plugins to it. uTorrent, on the other hand, is relatively stripped down in comparison but as a result it loads much quicker and uses less memory (of course not being a Java app helps too...).
Given that most people will probably never use many of the capabilities of Azureus, I think uTorrent is in general a better choice for most. - NecroSexy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2For me, Azureus was useless once suprnova told them to ***** off.
- Elpanadero, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Yes the best one in my opinion.
- h4mx0r, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2I dunno. I use Azureus because it doesn't affect my in-game ping for some reason, yet uTorrent pumps my ping into the crazy high numbers.
Az is my choice. - Altanar, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I've tried several, and I've found itto be the best. It's small, quick, and easy to configure.
- GreenAlien, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Azureus is a resource hog. Unless you need plugins doing obscure things then uTorrent is the best choice. I much prefer it. Cleaner UI, highly optimized executable, all the options most people need. Gets the job done nicely.
- Noctem, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1Excellent. Best client out there until Halite becomes further developed.
- chrisinsocalif, on 10/11/2007, -8/+1If you use something like VMware you can use more than one operating system to help get past some of the restrictions that Vista may have.
- over9, on 10/11/2007, -19/+6People still use utorrent after they sold out to RIAA/MPAA?
- zmjone2992, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13that was bit torrent chief. utorrent is still developed seperately
- over9, on 10/11/2007, -5/+6http://digg.com/tech_news/BitTorrent_merges_with_uTorrent
- Protoss, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5uTorrent is still developed by some of the original development team. ludde stopped developing after the buyout, but all the other developers are still there, so no BitTorrent trickery is at hand.
- ripper365, on 10/11/2007, -13/+40The last version of uTorrent before being bought out by BitTorrent was 1.6.1. BitTorrent is in cahoots with the MPAA... I wonder what other "features" they've added. I'll stick w/ 1.6.1, thanks.
- oldJimSteele, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2yeah, i'm sure they're going to catch all of us this way.
shhh - etruscan, on 10/11/2007, -7/+1Even if uTorrent starts spewing all your IP's to the MPAA, most ISPs (at least here in Canada) will never resolve your IP to your personal information for anyone other than you. They may send you a friendly reminder to stop such behaviour, but that's about it. I'll try out 1.7.
- Darth_tater, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6well, in America they shouldn't, but it seems most ISP's will be happy to give out your information
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 10/11/2007, -4/+5Switched to Azureus immediately when I heard the news. Quality is about the same, but the plugins in Azureus came in real handy.
Bottom line is you just can't verify whats in the code, and now its suspect. Best to avoid these problems entirely.- jae1227, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I did the same thing
- raitchison, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Of course Azureus is Java and of course like all Java apps it consumes vast amounts of resources and generally sucks, I'm staying with 1.6, If I even am forced to move to something else I'll go back to ABC. It's open source and it's not writtent in Java.
http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/
- zumpiez, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14I switched to TinfoilTorrent.
- trickinit, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1uTorrent's privacy policy.... http://www.utorrent.com/privacy.php
I'm not too worried. It says they won't use anyone's personal information- raitchison, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2The company they are owned by has the MPAA for a client, I just don't trust them.
- UlicBelouve, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3There are many sites, including one I subscribe to, that do NOT allow you to use 1.7, for the sole reason that it is "blessed by MPAA". Switch to 1.7, and you won't be able to connect to some trackers.
- oldJimSteele, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2yeah, i'm sure they're going to catch all of us this way.
- tilleyrw, on 10/11/2007, -13/+6Excuse me, does ANYONE use a version uTorrent after the 1.6 Release before they were "bought out"???
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Everyone not in the tin-foil-hat crowd.
- Samji, on 10/11/2007, -4/+22How the hell is this a Microsoft story?
- blanktarget, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Actually it gave me an error when it tried to auto update I had to go and get the new one myself. Still my favorite torrent application. Particularly I like scheduling.
- darkfate, on 10/11/2007, -3/+23What torrent would have 65,536 pieces?
- StepJoe, on 10/11/2007, -4/+42XXX Me &Your Mom XXX 56 gigs
- magila, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6There are some very large torrents out there that otherwise require sub-optimal piece sizes (>1MB).
- SnowflakePillow, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I switched to uTorrent from Azureus when I tried to get on a 100GB torrent. Every time I tried loading it in Azureus it froze. uTorrent had no problem with it. I've been with uTorrent ever since. That being said, if a 100GB torrent didn't go over this limit, it must be a HUGE one that does. But I'm sure one is out there.
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1It depends on the piece size. Some idiots pick 1MB pieces on such 100GB torrents and end up with 100k+ pieces, if they had picked 4MB (or let a sane torrentmaker choose for them), they'd have a large but sane 25k piece torrent.
- scabbers, on 10/11/2007, -6/+19Still using 1.6 and waiting for a decent open source alternative....
- teaBagger, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3The last real uTorrent is ver 1.6b474 which i am using....
Waiting for the decent open source torrent prog- raitchison, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1ABC is open source and it's not bad.
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Lol Azureus?
- Elpanadero, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1decent.. Azureus eats your machine resources. uTorrent is, for know, the best one.
Maybe when KDE4 runs in windows we could use KTorrent.
- Elpanadero, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1decent.. Azureus eats your machine resources. uTorrent is, for know, the best one.
- karamba_kid, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1rtorrent means business.
- kahrytan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You tried Deluge?
- teaBagger, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3The last real uTorrent is ver 1.6b474 which i am using....
- swiftekho, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2Wonder what I could use this for... :D
- Shando, on 10/11/2007, -1/+31A lot of private trackers have banned 1.7, apparently it repeatedly sent strange information to the trackers, screwing with their statistics. And I've been using 1.6.1 on Vista for over 3 months, with absolutely no problems whatsoever
- baldr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+91.7 was released last night, who has banned it already?
- Elbart, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10There have been plenty of public betas released.
- Protoss, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3And they were just that, BETA. More private trackers ban any beta torrent client for that exact reason.
- Shando, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3BTZone.org, to name one
- UlicBelouve, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1DigitalHive, for two
- Elbart, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10There have been plenty of public betas released.
- td4guy, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4"Change: Only report downloaded, verified good pieces in tracker announce"
That'll screw up global upload/download stats in the long run, on sites that keep track of that.- expert01, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2As a tracker developer, I can say it makes sense. Why should it count against you if you download from someone sending you bad data?
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Yup, announce bug on 4GB+ torrents, already fixed and 1.7.1 is on the downloadpage :).
- Shando, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Just saw that. Personally, 1.6.1 does everything I really need in a torrent client, and im a bit wary of upgrading because of the whole BitTorrent acquisition. I think I'll just stick with 1.6.1
- baldr, on 10/11/2007, -2/+91.7 was released last night, who has banned it already?
- WolfDV, on 10/11/2007, -7/+4I use a 1.61 version of utorrent (µtraitor ftw)
- worknman, on 10/11/2007, -8/+6May be a dumb question but, I've never used it .. does this thing come bundled with any spyware?
- Zybergod, on 10/11/2007, -8/+1Not that I'm aware of. It's just a .exe file.
- zadatak, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Yeah, no .exe file has ever done any harm...
- Zybergod, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1By "bundled" I was assuming he meant as an installation file that just happens to have "install xyz toolbar" checked during installation.
- zadatak, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Yeah, no .exe file has ever done any harm...
- DarkShroud, on 10/11/2007, -0/+6To date nothing has been round in µTorrent or the Mainline client. But don't let open source fans (most of which can't read code) hear this.
- Zybergod, on 10/11/2007, -8/+1Not that I'm aware of. It's just a .exe file.
- knutslie, on 10/11/2007, -7/+5Utorrent after 1.6 sucked. After upgrading to 1.6.1 I found a lot of annoying bugs and wanted to change back to 1.6 clean again. However, their site didn't let people download the old version, thus almost forcing people to betatest 1.6.1 for them (which however was a bogus release, because it had more bugs than improvements). So my advice is, stick with 1.6. No need for new versions.
- aadnk, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6Yet you haven't even tried 1.7? Give it a try before you make judgments.
- Hangender, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4Woot, finally! After all those betas.
- WillTraveler, on 10/11/2007, -6/+21I still use 1.6. I don't trust the later versions. Since BitTorrent, Inc bought it.
- oavina, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4Excuse me, but since when is uTorrent owned by MS? or is this not reason this news is listed under the Microsoft branch for Technology news?
- AdHaR, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1The submitter thought this would be the right place to submit the article probably because of the "full Vista support".
- slowmotiony, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4same reason every MacOSX app is under 'apple'.
- Mizzike, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1There is a Software category... that might be a good place for news about apps
- duccodude, on 10/11/2007, -3/+14Just to be clear, 1.6.1 came out before the bittorrent sell out right?
- mrkmrk, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4It did, I believe.
- Nitelite, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5It did, but contained more bugs than 1.6, in general the torrent community officially stopped "trusting" anything past 1.6 (some say 1.6.1)
See my other comment for torrent advice.- NoOneButMe, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Last i heard, most of the 'torrenting community' that's not paranoid idiots still use uTorrent. The one's that dont switched over to linux and use something else. Not set in stone of course, but for the most part ^^
- MacSuxWindozSux, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5Stopped trusting at 1.6.
I'm not paranoid. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the MPAA and RIAA would pay almost anything to secretly inject code into everyone's uTorrent client.
I simply know after all these years, that the mega corps have no limit to how low they'll go. - Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4You mean "the tin-foil-hat community".
- Nitelite, on 10/11/2007, -2/+9For those asking questions about torrent clients. Please start at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_BitTorrent_clients
and then continue.
Also Peerguardian2 is highly recommended to use in conjunction with torrenting. Your mileage may vary.- Bando, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2I tried peerguardian2. It blocked access to websites I use. >< So I disabled it and never looked back ^^
- Icerazer, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0You need to turn off HTTP blocking whilst browsing.
- phpCypher, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2This kinda reminds me of when kazaa went under fire. Mos def won't be upgrading.
- theblindman2, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4He won't?
- phpCypher, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I am Mos Def
- theblindman2, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4He won't?
- Me1000, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1why is this in the microsoft category?
- TiKoZ, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Because there's no "torrent category" *****!
- mcrules, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1because uTorrent is a Windows only program?
- Cherubim, on 10/11/2007, -4/+4There is no evidence of spyware in utorrent.
- seventoes, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Theres no evidence against it either, which is worse when it comes to something like this.
- LANjackal, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3I have no problem with uTorrent - all the private trackers I'm a member of allow all recent versions of it, including the new update. I just upgraded on this end, thank you very much. Happy sharing :).
- DeusGear, on 10/11/2007, -10/+1It has spyware, bury this.
- bigrodey77, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9I wouldn't use anything past 1.6. I first started using 1.6 and then upgraded to 1.6.1 as so far, the only difference I noticed was that my speeds DECREASED. I doubt I'll use 1.7 and I've tried to downgrade to 1.6, however I have yet to be able to do that. Stick with 1.6 if you want a fantastic client.
- rafid1, on 10/11/2007, -2/+21.7.1 update release is out !
My most wanted upgrades/features are:
* improved RSS -auto-downloader/scanner. great for downloading TV episodes !
* cleanup, stability , performance and smallest footprint - RocketGib, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Only problem is, uTorrent crashes this POS BEFSR41 Linksys router... :(
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Maximum connections set redicoulously high perhaps?
- GreenAlien, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I have had uTorrent crash my Netgear router too when left running for so long. Maybe by default it tries too many connections. There is an option to limit total connections. I did this and no more router crashes.
- josehoyos, on 10/15/2007, -0/+0RocketGib... did the advice of Saribro or GreenAlien worked? i have the same problem :(
- vishzilla, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2downloaded a torrent with 1.7, didnt find any change....still awesome as 1.6.1
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Well yeah, there isn't really one -big- new feature or anything, but as you can see from the changelog, a whole lot of small new stuff, polishing and bugfixing has been going on.
- venicerocco, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Yay! Sticking it to the man one download at a time! (If only I could pirate cars too!)
- seventoes, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You can! But its hard to get the cars onto the ship without bringing some kind of crane...
- Saribro, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1You just construct a ramp and launch on to it, silly...

- tony4moroney, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3..patiently waits for a bit tornado upgrade.
- dougalzene, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8Past releases: http://oldapps.com/download_old_version_utorrent.php
- thedave82, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I haven't used a version newer than 1.6.1... old versions can be found here: http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=utorrent
- blizzok, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2the things i would give for a *nix version
- Ascendancy5, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Wait, whose seeding 250 torrents? That's pretty crazy.
- algorythm, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Could be coincidence but after I upgraded to 1.6.1 I received a cease and desist order from my ISP for downloading a game. I think there is something in there not in our favor...
- Daggoth, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3The new uTorrent V1.7, which is now basically owned by the MPAA, reports back the torrents you have downloaded, your IP, the IP of those that you are downloaded or uploaded from or to and other identifiable stuff. In other words, the chances of you getting caught downloading illegal stuff increases greatly. In addition, if you download a torrent which has a seeder or leecher with V1.7, your information will be recorded as well.
- Twelve-60, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Proof or DIAF.
- jmillar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2@ Daggoth
Is this a substantiated fact, or do you simply mistrust the new management?
Reports back? To whom? Do you have firewall logs? What IPs?
Now, don't get me wrong. It's a matter of the right to privacy, and it is serious.
Do you have hard info that others don't, or have you had too much coffee? Facts, please. We are all ears.
