I am pretty fond of the brown/green twotone design the Zune sports.

I only know 1 person. so if your going to put it in a case any way it doesn't matter what color it is. especially if it is $20 less.

- emomakesmecry, on 10/23/2007, -0/+11I dunno, I kinda like the brown. It's looks 100x better in person and you can always just put a case/skin on it and you'll never know it was brown anyway. I got one 'cause it's hard to pass up this kind of deal and the Zune 30 getting the same updates as the Zune 80 is pretty damn awesome if you ask me.

But what makes this backlash so interesting is that all this anger is primarily because the Zune DOESN'T suck. If it was horrible then people would criticize its abilities but because it's an okay player then, just like children in the playground, they need to resort to childish complaints about its color.
Anyway, I ordered one this morning. 30GB for $80 is dirt cheap so this will be perfect for leaving in the car. Plus, the Zune2 updates will bring things like podcasts, mp4 and wireless sync to the device. I still prefer iPods but people should really learn that it's okay to own more than one brand of product. People are only down on it because they are too stupid to realize that competition is good so they nitpick over products that they have zero intention on ever buying. Complaining about color is pathetic, especially considering it isn't the ONLY color they offer.
