The history is also very interesting from Bill's perspective.

Bill Gates>Steve Jobs - HomieG6189, on 06/21/2008, -3/+196He played football?!?!
- freakydingo, on 06/21/2008, -3/+124He looked like he was 7 yrs old when he was in 8th grade.
- piratearggghhh, on 06/21/2008, -2/+101Love him or hate him, Gates is one of the most fascinating characters of our time - a modern day Rockefeller in the computer world. The rich history and success of Microsoft shows what a genius the guy is and the influence he's had on all our lives. You have to respect a guy who built a multi-billion dollar empire using his brain and not from just investing the stock market or pumping oil etc. in addition to his charity work.
- billizm, on 06/21/2008, -6/+92@1:57: Albaqueicky?
- Beastmasta, on 06/21/2008, -1/+78Haha, "some contraption that dumps water on you..."
- KMartSheriff, on 06/21/2008, -7/+67You just had to be the troll, didn't you. Even some of us Mac fans have high respect for Gates. The man is a genius.
- pamon, on 06/21/2008, -1/+61pretty cool... like his presentation. like MSFT or not, they are a huge company started from a genius mind. cool
- karolisonline, on 06/21/2008, -3/+56as you look at pictures like this, you understand that gates is more nerd/geek than businessman. yes he build biggest company in the world, but he started this by meeting geek paul because he was very good in math, he was interested in big machines in times when no one was dreaming about personal computers.. and at that time computers were not so classy. and even when he started to earn millions he still looked like nerd. another thing is that he never did PR from what he was doing, it is only now when he showed pictures like this, after his retirement from microsoft.. i'm not a microsoft fanboy, but You have to respect microsoft and gates for not shouting how cool they are and how everyone else sucks.. and I never heard gates forcing employees to work as "90hours per week and happy"
- phyx726, on 06/21/2008, -0/+50no you wont
- inactive, on 06/21/2008, -5/+47Loved these !
- xkingADROCKx, on 06/21/2008, -3/+43Microsoft actually looks quite fun to work at
- inactive, on 06/21/2008, -1/+40This man is incredible, we would be in such a different place without him. This short slideshow is an inspiration to anyone with ambitions. Good on you, Bill.
- inactive, on 06/21/2008, -7/+45proud to work for msft
- wontstoptalking, on 06/21/2008, -10/+48Hmm.....no mug shot from the speeding?
- Frazzlet, on 06/21/2008, -4/+41It's safe to say the general view is although most like Apple more than Microsoft, they like Gates more than Jobs.
- aroundtown, on 06/21/2008, -1/+36It's nice to see him as a human, you couldn't imagine a nicer/more humble guy creating such a massive company.
- sambapati87, on 06/21/2008, -19/+53Love the mac on the desk in the background of slide 6....
- KMartSheriff, on 06/21/2008, -2/+32You spelled ***** wrong.
- Parkinsons, on 06/22/2008, -1/+28No. It is because we like the kind philanthropist rather then the jerk off.
- SitPoMk, on 06/21/2008, -0/+27This was an interesting watch. Nationwide Math Contest winner? Brilliant at a young age
- badjoke, on 06/21/2008, -1/+27Everyone's seen those.
- pukiman, on 06/21/2008, -5/+30"Wow" at the third photo (with Paul). Bill looks like an eight years old kid, compared to the guy older than him by only two years old.
- AlexWiggy, on 06/21/2008, -4/+28Wow bill gates is Batmans sidekick. I knew it! (10th frame)
- fakekevinrose, on 06/22/2008, -2/+26I get the impression that personally, Jobs seems like an *****. have you seen pirates of silicon valley
- dagamer34, on 06/22/2008, -1/+24Regardless of what most people would say about him, Gates isn't a bad guy. And with all the money he's donating, you can't call him a "greedy bastard" like so many other rich people.
But that Steve Ballmer... we'll discuss that another time. - xkingADROCKx, on 06/21/2008, -1/+20I would like to hear him talk about it though.
- Shiner6, on 06/21/2008, -3/+21Yea as much as I don't like Microsoft, it is an amazing story and I do like Gates. Internet Explorer however, that's another story.
- Thrilltone, on 06/21/2008, -2/+20Who would bother commenting in a thread that obviously held no interest for them?
- Schmidtopolis, on 06/21/2008, -2/+19Just goes to show you that the fanboys fuel the feud, not the companies.
- inactive, on 06/21/2008, -1/+16"steve ballmer once dressed up as a hula girl"
- davidlitts, on 06/21/2008, -0/+14I think that was really cool, I know there is alot of hate that comes down on MS, but honestly we owe a lot to MS, gates and the others that are allowing what I'm doing right now. I think its pretty cool to get a look back at that, with narration from one of the most important people to modern society
- bovester, on 06/21/2008, -1/+15@4:58
Did he say MEOW? - JettaMan, on 06/21/2008, -2/+16Puberty is a bitch.
- ithejosh, on 06/21/2008, -0/+13Bill Gates is a business man as much as he is a nerd. I honestly just don't think his nerdiness got him to this level. It was his skill in business.
- Jaliyl, on 06/21/2008, -1/+147/10
Good job, would be trolled again. - drakia, on 06/21/2008, -2/+14I watched the entire thing, found it rather interesting. We all bash Microsoft, and their (mostly) crappy software, but Bill Gates, as a person, isn't all that bad of a guy.
- Galaxylander, on 06/21/2008, -10/+20I'm a hardcore, Apple, Steve Jobs and everything anti-Microsoft fanboy, but I really like Gates as a person.
I love Gates, he's a nice guy who has a big heart, I just hate his company. - doshindude, on 06/22/2008, -1/+11Not so nerdy now, huh?
- SitPoMk, on 06/21/2008, -1/+11it's simplistic, not crappy
- mrlost117, on 06/21/2008, -1/+11Gordon Freeman makes an appearance in the second to last frame.
- heavystone, on 06/21/2008, -2/+11I think he is testing the Apple fans if they are aware that Bill Gates saved Apple for going under....without MS Apple would be no more. MS does own a % of Apple you know....
- markmeinteil, on 06/22/2008, -1/+9And your job requires you to say: "Can I take your order, please?"
- sambapati87, on 06/21/2008, -2/+10reported? really?
- grizzlybrice, on 06/22/2008, -0/+8He looked like he was 7 yrs old when he was making his first 2.5 mil.
- takua108, on 06/22/2008, -4/+12Probably because most of us identify more with the nerdy, bespectacled Gates rather than the sophisticated, turtlenecked Jobs.
- hoodmonkey, on 06/21/2008, -5/+13Although they've almost always been developing something for the Mac, that is a executive office - not a programmers. Meaning, the execs might have used Macs for day to day work for stuff *other* then developing.
- MCCULLAH, on 06/22/2008, -2/+10no...hes still nerdy
