I like the ipod because of the size vs. the Zune, I love the iTunes software, I use the Jscrob2 plugin to sync my played tracks with Last.FM, I like the GUI on the ipod better, and the scroll wheel is faster and easier than the click button Zune. So yeah, I have legitimate reasons for using the ipod.

A lot more should be added via firmware updates. The playforsure thing is a bummer, but most music people own is not DRM'ed. Plus it playes unprotected AAC's. Ipod can't play unprotected WMA's. you have to convert them. And don't forget the built-in FM tuner.

However, they still fail to mention that they are restricted to the three days/three plays policy. That is assuming that you can actually find someone with a Zune.

I have to say though, that when the Zune comes out with newer versions that are Live aware and integrates with my 360 and other devices I will certainly go out and get one. The Zune has some great features that I'd love to use that you simply can't do on an iPod. Being able to spend my microsoft points on games in addition to TV shows, movies, and music makes it a bit more convenient (and cheaper than simply paying in USD, since stores frequently have sales on game "accessories", while few ever have sales on iTunes gift cards). I don't care about looking trendy, hip, or cool. I want functionality at a reasonable price.
