Google Maps hates Windows

google.com — One of the features of Google Maps is that it pulls in images from websites. Take a look at the image for Microsoft....

As it is now, it's just a watered-down version of every other mapping site, with bad directions and a barely passable interface.

      I also have extended my taskbar to 4 lines of tabs...

      On my old 15" screen, I had around 10cm of site space in firefox! Now I have doubled it with my new 26" screen! :P

      Anyway, onto the subject.....just been bombed thats all! You work out what phrases google uses to find images - you can get any image to display as a google maps image! ;)

      I'd get rid of the Google bar as it's useless on Firefox, stick to the search box. Other than that he's just got the web dev toolbar.

Interesting since I don't see how Microsoft could have any offices as that address. I know they used to own space in Bellevue Plaza on the corner of Bellevue Way and NE 8th.

If you scan over and look at MS headquarters at 1 Microsoft Way, the image is a screenshot from some obscure computer website of a desktop using one of the silly themes that came with Microsoft Plus for Win98.

Just the other day, Digg featured an article titled, "Google as Dictator" (http://www.smallbusinesshub.com/blog/tabid/6307/bid/1318/Google-As-Dictator-5-Most-Devious-Things-It-Could-Do-If-It-Were-Evil.aspx). The fact that they are willing to do this jokingly indicates that they would do it intentionally. It's not funny at all. I would expect Microsoft to be held to the same high standard.
