- TGMD, on 02/10/2008, -75/+315It looks like a Bsod from Win2k (definitely not XP nor Vista)
What's the big deal? Are you fanboys so hard-up to attack MS you'll just post a picture of an OLD computer crashing?
I suppose if it was a kernel panic under Linux (which i had MANY) or a crash in Mac (also, I had MANY) you guys wouldn't be posting it.. why? Because It's not news worthy, it's stupid. - ChazPSE, on 02/10/2008, -6/+190Écran Bleu De la Mort, priceless.
- centran, on 02/10/2008, -4/+128I would love to see one of those screen display a pop-up about not being genuine.
- krische, on 02/10/2008, -14/+135Look, before all the windows people start freaking out trying to say its no big deal, just relax. It's just something that is supposed to make you laugh.

- lamprey187, on 02/10/2008, -11/+78dugg for Écran Bleu De la Mort
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -6/+67Windows 98 and blue screens go together like Legos.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -3/+64Are you calling me gay?
- norman619, on 02/10/2008, -15/+75Ah yes because no other OS crashes but Windows.
STFU plz. - NavS, on 02/10/2008, -5/+63BSoD are classics. I haven't seen one in a long time, I think it's been a couple years.
- celkin, on 02/10/2008, -4/+52Another reason to finally upgrade from 98 to XP
- nightmare1228, on 02/10/2008, -28/+74The apple fanboys are going to have a field day with this. Windows is not the only os that has ever crashed. Believe it or not, macs crash to.
- celkin, on 02/10/2008, -5/+49It looks like your computer is crashing. Do you need some help?
/Clippy - chris9902, on 02/10/2008, -10/+51Another reason to check your hardware. There's a reason for the BSoD and that's so your expensive computer doesn't explode into flames.
- imikedaman, on 02/10/2008, -0/+39Only a Blue Screen of Death? How about a massive calculator?
http://thedailywtf.com/Articles/Calculatorating-in ... - moet, on 02/10/2008, -5/+40Thats Windows ME
- benburned, on 02/10/2008, -9/+41epic fail
- meggani, on 02/10/2008, -4/+36If it was linux or mac I'd be snapping pictures and laughing too. And I love both of those operating systems
- devilwarriors, on 02/10/2008, -1/+33Personnellement, je préfère "blue screen of death"
- Ragingcnu, on 02/10/2008, -1/+31What's scarier is it took an entire night to reboot the thing...
BSOD+PEBKAC=fail - inactive, on 02/10/2008, -13/+42Thats why you switch over to Vista b*tches! /sarcasm
But seriously, I have yet to receive anything closely resembling a BSoD on my Vista PC. - allyant, on 02/10/2008, -7/+32It's becasue Macs are never used in public places like this, hell even Apple use windows pc's in there store and vending machines.
- wcarolyn, on 02/11/2008, -1/+26Sorry for comment abuse but this image is photoshopped.
http://www.unlimitedimagehosting.com/images/518436 ... (closeup of 2nd picture) - techresearcher, on 02/10/2008, -4/+27There is a reply button, you know.
- edd17, on 02/10/2008, -1/+23Its a perfectly cromulent word.
- ydt89, on 02/10/2008, -2/+24ROFLMAO! LAWLSS!! AHAHAHAH ZOMG LOLLERCOPT ROFLSKATES!!!
- kyle415, on 02/10/2008, -3/+24Photoshop makes it so hard to believe these types of pics.
- gstep, on 02/10/2008, -3/+23Yeah those little handheld checkout things they use at Apple Store run Windows Mobile. Hehe.
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -3/+23bitches dont know bout merriam-webster's dictionary
- tango1110, on 02/10/2008, -9/+29I dugg this because I figured Anonymous did it.
- ZigVicious, on 02/11/2008, -1/+21the disc has a hole...
- benitojuarez, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19it is win2k you can tell from the graphic in the "explore" side of the window where is says "this folder is online". Nevermind the fact it says online and not shared.
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19For the love of god let it not be ME. i still have nightmares about my old ME system.
- norman619, on 02/10/2008, -2/+20Yes
- Oea420, on 02/10/2008, -0/+18To all saying it's ME, it's actually not. it's win2k, you can tell by the BSoD (It's an NT style BSoD, not 9x)
So the guy behind the operation isn't TOO much of a bafoon, I love win2k :) - norman619, on 02/10/2008, -5/+23Stop bing a fanboy
- gstep, on 02/10/2008, -4/+22Not that this couldn't happen. But I think it's fake. Look at the corners of the "screen" in the second photo. It appears to be overlapping the frame. If you're gonna Photoshop something, take the time to do a good job. Donny would be very upset with them.
- Calculon, on 02/10/2008, -8/+26I work in a large datacenter and the Linux servers have just as many problems as the Windows. We aIso do *way* more re-installs of Linux... but bad hardware is the #1 cause of kernel panic/BSOD's *not* the OS.
- krische, on 02/10/2008, -0/+17Or worse, ME. Then it would be completely understandable.
- bflfab, on 02/10/2008, -0/+17This is in Las Vegas
- Frostman3D, on 02/10/2008, -5/+21What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
- f54280, on 02/10/2008, -0/+15That is, in fact, the usual way it is said in French.
- FutureGuy, on 02/10/2008, -3/+18If anything this shows that most of those big screens are hooked to a windows PC and when they do crash its an "Event" worth digging up to the front page. I didn't know windows is that stable.
- Myonosken, on 02/11/2008, -2/+16And today's biggest liar goes to....
- Bamborzled, on 02/10/2008, -11/+251. Macs crash to what?
2. Did you see anyone talking about Macs before you? There were some "Don't use Windows" people, but they're idiots. - swordedge, on 02/10/2008, -24/+37That is what you get for using a multipurpose OS to do very simple jobs. Real Time OS is better suited
- dvsbastard, on 02/10/2008, -0/+13You must embiggen your vocabulary!
- getoffmybridge, on 05/05/2009, -1/+14Then somebody needs to be fired....or hired.
- allyant, on 02/10/2008, -3/+16Really :O My XP has never too!
- fryguy1013, on 02/10/2008, -2/+14I'm not so sure a RTOS would solve that issue. Usually BSOD are caused by hardware malfunction, which a RTOS wouldnt' solve. Additionally, why spend development time on a media player for one when you can just get a video splitter and load up windows + windows media player running on a loop (from a manager's perspective at least). Sometimes simple is best.
