Bill Gates last day at Microsoft from CES 2008 watch!
tweakvista.com — Earlier this evening Bill Gates gave his final Microsoft keynote at the 2008 CES show in Las Vegas. Throughout the keynote he made many references to what he will do with his free time once he retires from day to day operations at Microsoft. It turns out, Bill has big plans in addition to his foundation after all.

- quomen, on 01/07/2008, -3/+43I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cameos.
- mhearne, on 01/07/2008, -34/+1Funny? All I get is:
Server Error An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.) - Please try again later...- R031E5, on 01/07/2008, -1/+11*sigh* Start the IP/TCP service and open the SQL ports on your firewall, can you grow up please?

- Stereotype77, on 01/07/2008, -1/+10You'd think he be playing the Halo theme considering he owns the company that makes the game.....and it actually exists...
But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't grinning the entire time I was watching it..- drunk3nrabbit, on 01/07/2008, -2/+13Bungie and microsoft went their seperate ways
- Nesk, on 01/07/2008, -0/+3Though Microsoft kept the halo license. Microsoft also has first buy on anything Bungie produces.

- monospaced, on 01/07/2008, -9/+16Didn't U2 team up with Apple not long ago? Oh, and isn't Jay-Z working on something with Apple right now? Just seems odd.
- simplenation, on 01/07/2008, -4/+55and Steve Jobs and Bill Gates meet at least once a year on good terms. Just because fanboys have these wars over apple and microsoft doesn't mean the actual companies do.
- Speed, on 01/07/2008, -1/+31And the Microsoft Xbox 360 can play songs off an Apple iPod. And Apple computers can run Windows. And Microsoft develops Office for MacOS. Despite what the Mac commercials will lead you to believe, I think Microsoft and Apple are getting along fine. (Though that may change with Balmer being in control)
- antoniojvr, on 01/07/2008, -0/+6Not to mention the Goracle being on Apple's BOD. Still, they put their differences aside for this moment. Say what you will about Windows or Gates, he did change the computing world forever.
- StealthMonkey, on 01/07/2008, -1/+25Too bad he's #2.

- quomen, on 01/07/2008, -6/+100I thought it was funny that Bono and Al Gore were in a microsoft keynote--The former having his own ipod with Apple and the latter being on the Board.
- etandrib, on 01/07/2008, -0/+28When did this keynote become MS vs. Apple? I thought this was about Bill Gates.
- johnny222, on 01/07/2008, -0/+2And JayZ signed with an Apple label.
- brapper, on 01/07/2008, -21/+4Funny that most people included (other than employees) in this film have been associated with Apple at one point or another - Jay-z, Bono, Gore...
- machine117, on 01/07/2008, -18/+2When was Jay-Z ever associated with Apple? He does commercials for HP, but thats about it.
NVM--I googled and found speculation of a record deal.

- mrASSMAN, on 01/07/2008, -15/+103They really should have gotten Steve Jobs to appear in the video, that would've been even more awesome.
- simplenation, on 01/07/2008, -9/+61who knows? maybe they requested and Jobs denied.
- mrASSMAN, on 01/07/2008, -2/+85Yeah that's what I guessed too, Jobs can be an a-hole sometimes. He refused to even write a forward for Woz's autobiography.
- cusoman, on 01/07/2008, -1/+55Likely. It's well known that Jobs is a grade A ass.
- dadm110, on 01/07/2008, -0/+4I wouldn't doubt that you're right

- mrASSMAN, on 01/07/2008, -3/+36lol, That was the low-point of the video. At least they didn't put Giuliani in it..
- hillkiwi, on 01/07/2008, -0/+7I'm guessing he wanted to stay neutral between the two potential candidates. Plus he and Bill Clinton are good friends.
- mdeppi01, on 01/07/2008, -16/+2And there you have the best thing Obama will ever do for America.
- Elliuotatar, on 01/07/2008, -6/+41What the hell was Hillary doing in there? Ugh.

- pinstripewizard, on 01/07/2008, -32/+3what was Stephen Hawking doing playing at the desk?
this will be alot funnier once Jay-z joins forces w/ apple.- TxAggie08, on 01/07/2008, -11/+1Jay-Z was doing spots for HP. Its doubtful.
- dwninjungleland, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1Jay-Z and Bill can be FRIENDS. Just because he's doing business with apple doesnt mean he can't help out his FRIEND Bill Gates for his farewell speech!
- PhillyMJS, on 01/07/2008, -32/+23Yeah, it was funny, but (big surprise, considering the source) not original--- Bill Clinton's 'last days' video was funnier.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vN1OCrRrgVw- IbraAlYahud, on 01/07/2008, -5/+1Whoops. I guess I wrote my comment before you submitted yours. And worse apparently - I wrote "Clonton". I don't know why it took everfalling so wrong to write his comment.
- jimbojim, on 01/07/2008, -11/+15Ok that video sucked.
- z0rz, on 01/07/2008, -3/+15No. No, that was not funnier.
- ogmak, on 01/07/2008, -2/+3I wont say it was funnier, but it did seem like Bill was copying Clinton; however, Bill's is funnier...a lot...
- IbraAlYahud, on 01/07/2008, -24/+3This is the same thing as Clonton's Last Days, the video he made at the end of his presidency. Clinton's is alot better, though.

- OhHarrow, on 01/07/2008, -6/+139Haha that was great. Except for the part when Hilary's giant face suddenly appeared. I almost barfed.
- thedragon4453, on 01/07/2008, -11/+9Yeah, at that part, I was really saddened that Gates would support Hilary. I was relieved to see Obama.

- Nevotraz, on 01/07/2008, -0/+19If you look at cars as a status symbol, then for Gates it's pointless; everyone knows he's one of the richest men alive. His name is associated with money probably more than anyone else except for Buffet.
He lives in a $50-million house, it's not like he's afraid to spend. Besides, I'm sure he has a few more cars than the focus. - byrdgang, on 01/08/2008, -3/+2Yeah, weird...I was expecting him to roll up in a Maybach or Rolls Royce. How can you stand a middle-class car when you can afford something far better? Eww.

- Portachking, on 01/07/2008, -7/+261Regardless of what you think of Microsoft, you have to love Bill Gates.
- mhearne, on 01/07/2008, -43/+4No, I do not.
- CrimsonBlur, on 01/07/2008, -2/+32Why not? Can you think of another person, ever, that has given (and will continue to give) more money to charity than Bill Gates? Oh right, you can't, because none have.
- MacEnvy, on 01/07/2008, -13/+7Depends on how you measure it. If you go by % of GDP at the time of donation, then both Carnegie and Rockefeller have him beat. In terms of actual dollars, Gates has given the most.
- Ymeg, on 01/07/2008, -0/+7Ya, what a *****...
- CrimsonBlur, on 01/07/2008, -2/+32Why not? Can you think of another person, ever, that has given (and will continue to give) more money to charity than Bill Gates? Oh right, you can't, because none have.
- knowmonger, on 01/07/2008, -6/+23Yeah. I mean, Apple has become a lot evil these days.
- fstorino, on 01/07/2008, -1/+4Well, I don't HAVE to -- love should be unconditional. But I do.
- mhearne, on 01/07/2008, -43/+4No, I do not.
- jadedcrypto, on 01/07/2008, -6/+92LOVE the Mac in the background during his recording session. :)
- Elliuotatar, on 01/07/2008, -2/+17If I'm not mistaken, in the segment where they are plugging the zune into the car in the middle of the keynote, the adaptor they use when they say "a zune or... ... any other music player" has an APPLE logo on it!
- rawnnie, on 01/07/2008, -24/+3That was painful to watch... :P
- bluvapor, on 01/07/2008, -9/+20Can I take my shirt off now?

- engion3, on 01/07/2008, -2/+1haha i agree
