- steveoco, on 01/07/2008, -4/+91I actually like Bill, he has contributed so much to modern technology it makes my head spin. For all those out there picking on him... imagine a world without bill gates. I hope he goes on to continue to contribute to the world via charity and other endeavours.
- Xorsist, on 01/07/2008, -2/+49heres the video, not some lame ***** digg submission. http://www.tweakvista.com/Article39218.aspx
- NyteStarNyne, on 01/07/2008, -1/+35Best part of the Keynote by far. They should have put it towards the end, instead of that cheap ass GH3 "challenge"
- 89vision, on 01/07/2008, -1/+29One would hope that with his kind of money he wouldn't drink such a ***** beer.
- WinGeek, on 10/15/2008, -17/+39Video Here: http://www.digg.com/microsoft/Bill_Gates_last_day_ ...
- Sedako, on 01/07/2008, -3/+25Bill Gates is one of my top 5 people I would love to spend a day with before I die. He's just a genuinely interesting guy, and his contributions to the technology scene have effected many. It makes me angry that Ballmer continues to give Microsoft a bad name.
- NuttyAvatar, on 01/07/2008, -6/+20We like to hate MS... But got to say he has a point... Gaming is years to decades away on Linux. So, Linux fanboys (myself included), lets give MS some credit and appreciate.
- taxali, on 01/07/2008, -0/+13Compared to killing innocent Iraqis, tearing up the Constitution and illigally going to war, a software monopoly doesn't really seem that bad, does it?
- ZenMojo, on 01/07/2008, -2/+14That and Bill Gates threw 40 billion dollars at poor people.
- slightlygifted, on 01/07/2008, -1/+13its not like jobs and gates are enemies. jobs is by no means suffering at the hand of gates and vice versa. even if they are competition.
- simplenation, on 01/07/2008, -2/+13i think those bashers were kids that grew up to mature adults.
- sovietninja, on 01/07/2008, -0/+11If you were awake at all during 2007, you would have realized that Guitar Hero III released, starring Slash, and included Welcome to the Jungle. You couldn't play the game and have Slash come out and play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - Aggaman Remix.
Actually that would have been pretty cool. - mearom, on 01/07/2008, -0/+10Do sorcerer "lord of the rings" style battle with Carlos Slim
- crazysamz, on 01/07/2008, -3/+13The part with Bono, OMG that was the best!
- Myonosken, on 01/07/2008, -2/+12I love how you neatly sidestepped the charity issue there.
- screwzluse, on 01/07/2008, -0/+9Wow... That's some hostility. I'm going to go as far as saying that windows is NOT the worst operating system ever. Windows pushed the PC into main stream consumers households. Yes, there have been a great deal of mistakes along the way, but I find Windows XP to an excellent operating system. I've had my Mac OSX crash more (on a MacBook Pro) than Windows XP did on any system I've used it on (MacBook Pro and custom built PC). Say what you will but the system is as solid as the user. You get a virus or your system crashes, there's a good chance it's your fault.
- MacParrot, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8C'mon guys! He's Bill Gates, not David Letterman. At least he showed some humor at his last keynote. Good for him and I hope his retirement is everything he wants it to be.
- taxali, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8To hell with India? No, no. To hell with YOU sir. Dick.
- ZenMojo, on 01/07/2008, -0/+8Some drunk older dude stopped me on campus with a gin flask in a brown bag in his hand and told me this long rambling story about how he hung out with Bill Gates and his dad up in Seattle and used to dive off his diving board on his yacht. As insane as he sounded, I find every single day makes me believe him more and more.
- DickyT83, on 01/07/2008, -0/+6I believe, through his Foundation, that he's donated like 50 some odd billion dollars to charity. That's a remarkable number.
- krebcycle, on 01/07/2008, -0/+6exactly, he's contributed more to charity than any other human in the history of the human race
- krazyman, on 01/07/2008, -0/+6http://soapbox.msn.com/video.aspx?from=msnvideo&sh ...
- iceshake, on 01/07/2008, -0/+5I believe he's using a Samsung that has Windows Mobile in it.
- krebcycle, on 01/07/2008, -0/+5microsoft owns a large share of apple; microsoft supported apple in the 90's when apple was doing very poorly because they didn't want to lose their only valid competition in the middle of the monopoly lawsuits
- funkytaco, on 01/07/2008, -1/+6He's soooooooo dreamy
http://www.nudonation.com/archivos/bill-gates.jpg - lintmonkey, on 01/07/2008, -2/+7Cool, you met Steve Ballmer?
- jjpertusch, on 01/07/2008, -0/+5Funny video. I just love how he's able to fully embrace how nerdy and lame he is. Like he didn't even take the time to properly strap on the Guitar Hero controller. And after 30 years the guy still cant deliver one line convincingly.
Also, i like how the Microsoft BOB joke fell flat to the audience. - renegadeafk, on 01/07/2008, -0/+4Welcome to the jungle kicks ass, I don't care what ***** year it is.
- falkonv7l, on 01/07/2008, -0/+4on the Prius he has a bumper sticker that says "My other car is a Porsche 959"
- TDot1980, on 01/07/2008, -2/+5You obviously have not sampled your friendly neighbourhood micro-brewer's wares, or you wouldn't be making such claims. That's like saying that there is no difference in wines besides red or white. Get educated about the subject before you comment and look like an ass.
- therightclique, on 01/07/2008, -0/+3dude, if you have the means to do otherwise, do not drink ***** beer. if you're low on funds, everybody understands.
- veloscaper, on 01/07/2008, -2/+5eh, wasn't bad but wasn't has funny as I thought it would be from the comments.
- DiggJig, on 01/07/2008, -2/+5Is Bono using an Iphone?
- edjenkins234, on 01/07/2008, -1/+4I love how you so easily and simply dismiss one of the most populous countries in the world in a few sentences.
- GuitaristTom, on 01/07/2008, -2/+5yeah... good one?
- ICSU, on 01/07/2008, -1/+3Why didn't you come with a better OS, mr. bigot?
- edwartica, on 01/07/2008, -0/+2Friends don't let friends drink mass produced American Lagers.
- blackmage439, on 01/07/2008, -0/+2Dark Helmet: "Knock before you come in my room next time!... Did you see anything?"
Col. Sanders: "No sir! I didn't see you playing with your dolls again sir!" - xptoast, on 01/07/2008, -0/+2...and not teaching people to use the spell check button in schools...
Just add the ...words... area to that and call it gold.
/not being mean but I couldn't pass up the opportunity:) I do agree however. - WinGeek, on 10/15/2008, -5/+7Sorry for dupe. Gotta love the Digg comment system :(
- gcnaddict, on 01/07/2008, -0/+2so did I, but I guess not.
- sovietninja, on 01/07/2008, -1/+3Are there any "open-source" women? ::thinks about it:: Wait, nevermind.
- Dantetheinferno, on 01/07/2008, -2/+4And gore is on the apple board of directors.
Who cares? - Orderless, on 01/07/2008, -1/+2Cream pies? I truly doubt that he's looking to have more children at this point in his life. Diggers who don't watch porn probably do not know what I am talking about ( and are probably better off for it. )
- Myonosken, on 01/07/2008, -1/+2Yeah...right.
- AceTracer, on 01/07/2008, -2/+3I'm 27 and have no ***** clue what you're talking about. I thought maybe it was an allusion to the alternate ending in Dr. Strangelove, but then you linked to some Japanese thing.
- edwartica, on 01/07/2008, -0/+1Remember the Buffy Bot that Spike had that one guy make? And then they tried to use it to fool everyone into thinking Buffy was alive. Open source Buffy, mmmmmmmmm.
- Myonosken, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1You have obviously not sampled Futurama.
- Razz, on 01/08/2008, -0/+1The video seems to be unavailable
- AceTracer, on 01/09/2008, -0/+1Actually, yes I do, by Belgians? Or in Belgium, something like that. But that was a far reach dude.
