- Blandyman, on 10/12/2007, -13/+100Oh dear God.
Ubunturd, are you the same ***** who registered www.ubuntusucks.com and mentioned it in the other Ubuntu article?
You must get a real hard-on from talking ***** about Ubuntu.
And your "signature" is annoying. We know you wanna say "***** the ubuntu hype." We don't ***** care, either.
I don't use Ubuntu, I only use Windows XP and Mac OS X. I found Ubuntu to be, unfortunately, not easy enough at first install and I didn't see any real advantages for ME to get into it.
But do I go around telling all Ubuntu users they're worthless and stupid? I actually find Ubuntu to be a very nice OS, albeit not useful to me.

http://ubuntu.org.au/node/43 - SlvrEagle23, on 10/12/2007, -6/+57I want one that says "My other car is an Ubuntu"...that should make sense to most people. How are they supposed to know Linux isn't a car?
- bobabot1, on 10/12/2007, -6/+36Diggs != page hits
- brstilson, on 10/12/2007, -5/+29ubunturd: "omg i hatez teh ubuntoos kawz i liek tried to installz teh bonzi buddy and it totally wouldn't let me!"
- steven401, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24Or the direct picture if you have some spare sticky paper around:
http://blog.clickonline.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/powered_by_ubuntu.jpg - lazyrussian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+23You can get them here: http://system76.com/index.php/cPath/53_64
- strabes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22I got some of these from system76 awhile ago... I have one on my computer where the Windows one used to be. :)
- fartingbob, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22Surely your power supply powers your computer, no?
- RedRummy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16I very rarely digg (don't know why) but I always click on the article..
- YHCIR, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Site down, no mirrors, but are the stickers the same as here?

http://www.system76.com/index.php/cPath/53_64 - hungryduck, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I'd like to put one on my Wii because after all, it's only matter of time...
- n3rrd, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Why would you assume diggs == page hits? People SHOULD be reading articles before they digg them. If you read an article and hate it, are you going to digg it?
- mercurysquad, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12I got mine at the Ubuntu stall at CeBIT last month. Also stuck over the same spot :D
- heptahedron, on 10/12/2007, -7/+16Can't we find something better than that tired old "Powered by ..." phrase?
How about:
"Unleashed by Ubuntu"
"Ubuntu Ultimate PC"
"Ubuntu Under Hood"
"Ubuntu, the Un-PC"
"Uber Ubuntu"
Anything by the decade-old "Powered by..." slogan - reed311, on 10/12/2007, -6/+14You shouldn't have to go into forums and figure out ways to get your hardware working. I always hear about Ubuntu "working right out of the box". A wireless card, for some people, is a major part of their setup.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9I like Ubuntu and all... but a story on Ubuntu stickers made it to the front page?
- GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -5/+12You'd assume Diggs would be proportional to hits though. Then again maybe not, there should be a statistical study into this sort of thing. How page hits varies with Diggs.
- Nick22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7remember, alot of diggs visitors dont even have digg acounts, in fact im willing to bet most of diggs visitors don't.
- diggsIt, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Ought to say - 'DRM Free'
- cwshea, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I have one of these on my laptop.
The one that doesn't have Ubuntu on it.
Looks spiffy. - blackrainbown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Hmm, you must be stupid.
- GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Or it should say powered by:
Ubuntu/Sun/Mozilla/X.org/GNOME/GNU/Linux. - frozenman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7@uoila -> badges.... we don't need no stinkin' badges....
Sorry, couldn't resist :) - antiNeo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8"These have been quite popular and as a result, we are now fresh out."
:-( - magicmarc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Some hi-res ones for other linux versions here:

- Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8You just failed at trolling.
- thelastknowngod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5here is powered by everything... just print your own. i have a powered by slackware one on my notebook.
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/%22Powered+by%22+collection?content=44884 - iEnigma, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8You can put one on your forehead so women will know not to bother with you.
(Kidding.) - steven401, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6@n3rrd
If you go into your profile you can 'undigg' things. - stuartpidd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@JeffH
I take back what I said... (if you can't get your wireless card working in Ubuntu, you are retarded. Go to the forums and read the ***** articles, *****.)
It was a pompous comment that made me look like the pathetic and immature fan boys that I can't stand. - Pow3rbook, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I got these at system76 a few weeks ago. Pretty sweet. They came 4 days after I sent the envelope!!!
- t0mmmmmmm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3s/digg/bury/
- gr4yscale, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I've got one of these on my laptop right now ;) I got mine free from System76.
- joltjake, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7yeah, nice try at being funny. Your brain must be powered by air duster and magic markers.
- stoffe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No address for Sweden, guess I'll have to get my fix from Norway then... :)
- morriscat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Hmm,
Guess I better get to work on that "Powered by Your Mother" graphic... - SamsLembas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2http://system76.com/index.php/cPath/53_64
Less shipping and faster service if you get them direct from System 76 - GMorgan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5"Why would you assume diggs == page hits? People SHOULD be reading articles before they digg them. If you read an article and hate it, are you going to digg it?"
Who on earth said that. I said I assume "hits ~ k * diggs" where k is some constant. I.E. the number of diggs is *proportional* to the number of hits. Proportional does not mean equal, never has and never will. In essence I was saying that while "diggs != hits", diggs is still a good metric to measure how much traffic is reaching the site but only in comparison to other digg articles. It's not entirely meaningless. - monkeyaneng, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2get the fedora sticker file here http://beranger.org/index.php?fullarticle=2587 and print it out yourself the same with ubuntu stickers they have them on there website.
- orbit1979, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4"You shouldn't have to go into forums and figure out ways to get your hardware working."
The operative word is "shouldn't", but often one has to. Even then, my "god" help, even then even "he" can't. - m1bxd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Ubuntu users are always up... :-)
- arjie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think it's more like a certain variation of hits vs. diggs while upcoming and very different while 'popular'. That's just common sense though and suddenly I feel like an idiot for having thought it was a brilliant epiphany.
- C0DeZeR00, on 09/30/2009, -0/+1Thanks For This
