- mickstephenson, on 11/11/2007, -3/+36Wow you're a Genius, Saving us all from our own stupidity.
What gave it away, the free trade logo? The lack of any orange on the can, or that Canonical don't specialise in the beverage industry.
You are my hero. - cranium, on 11/13/2007, -0/+25Yeah, I always forget "install" too.
- mattymayhem, on 11/12/2007, -0/+25xubuntu - sugar free

- KibibyteBrain, on 11/11/2007, -2/+20Or don't want to because they actually have involved 10 hour a day jobs that do not involve setting up and configuring Debian cola, like, for example, engineering or software development.
- Shawn4168, on 11/11/2007, -1/+18What? What do you mean, I can't drink an Operating System?

- inactive, on 11/12/2007, -0/+9I want a Gentoo Cola. It comes as an empty can, and the buyer adds water, CO2, sugar, caffeine, citric acid, and flavoring. Basically, if OpenCola sold all the ingredients in a box (let's face it, some of them are hard to come by) rather than already blended, so you could adjust the flavor yourself. Seriously though, they sell beer kits at the homebrewing shop that include all the one-time ingredients. For soda, you'd really only need an initial outlay of a seltzer bottle and a bottlecapper. Like with beer, you just save old bottles and refill them. If you have Grolsch bottles you don't even need the capper.
- justinjacobs, on 11/11/2007, -1/+10I see what you did there.
- scyon, on 11/11/2007, -0/+9Nope, free as in freedom. You can pay for the cola premade in a can, or you can get the instructions on how to make it for free and do so yourself.
- duckyinc, on 11/11/2007, -17/+25I think this ubuntu isn't the ubuntu operation system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(ideology)
- sishgupta, on 11/11/2007, -1/+8Sometimes I think debian users are just bitter because Ubuntu stole their free thunder.
If only they would realize that this mentality is detrimental to the FOSS movement.
in direct regards to vich, i dont really find debian all that different to use. But for some reason debian hasn't bothered adopting a graphical setup (in addition to a text based one like they have now). At a minimum one would think that debian would at least take ubiquity, modify it as needed and give users the option to use it.
Having used both ubuntu and debian I would say that the biggest difference is just the versions of apps are more recent on ubuntu. So the real question becomes "do i want near bleeding edge" or do I want "tried and true" and the answers are ubuntu and debian respectively. - CharlesSaint, on 11/11/2007, -1/+8Linux : Ubuntu : : UbuntuCola : _________
