- dknighton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks for calling that out, Jazz. Other than dupes, URL spamming, and the general stupidity that has been growing on digg, there is also this trend of utter laziness going on. People...the comments are not "Cliff's Notes" for the articles. They are to comment on the posted links. Don't be lazy...read the damn thing yourself.
It would be an interesting stat to see how many people who comment on the articles actually click the links and read them. I have a suspicion that there are a lot of people more interested in being comment whores than actually learning something. - deut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is a good website - it's been around quite a while but good digg anyway.

- bigfatdonny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'm glad these guys took the time to create this site, it's pretty useful. I just wish that they wouldn't try to use APT for everything. The SuSE setup they have is a lot more work than you really need to do. By checking off a few boxes in YAST during the installation, you can achieve what takes quite a bit of time to do at the command line with APT.
RPM-based distros use RPMs for a reason, just like Debian uses APT. Seems like it might be more helpful to have someone that's an expert with SuSE write the SuSE tutorial, rather than someone who's a Debian expert.
My $0.02. I applaud these guys for taking the time to share the knowledge with the rest of us. - el_jefe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0You need to link directly to the setup you are talking about... but this is old news. Stop digging everything this guy posts, its getting annoying. - posted by WRXHokie (1)
What? You scroll down through the page, spend 5 minutes looking for the artice and then realizing there is several "The Perfect Setup" articles pointing to different articles. Then you are left wandering which article he meant, or maybe he meant for me to read the all, then you start doubting your self worth and before you know it you wasted 20 minutes and still haven't read the article? Something wrong with that? - netnerd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Umm... how is this a perfect linux setup? It's a website that may have an article about their (the article writer's) perfect linux setup, but this is a link to the main page of the site. The headline here is misleading.
No digg. More specific links. - JazzSax, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Read the article and find out.
