- jimbren, on 10/16/2007, -1/+3John's a really nice guy. Last year I downloaded a program from Dell's linux support site that would allow me to update the BIOS by editing GRUB. I ran into problems with it, and decided to email him with what was going on. Not only did he reply to me in less than two hours, but he told me that I wasn't running the progrm incorrectly at all and that there was a bug in the program.
He sent me an corrected version and some information on what to expect when running it. I was very impressed that he took time out to investigate a problem report from some random jerk on the Interweb. And to think he did that while managing a team of people and getting ready to roll out Ubuntu to the masses is even more impressive.
