- DirtySnachez, on 11/13/2007, -3/+50Just so everyone who's using the BETA knows, you dont have to re-download.. you can run the update manager and everything gets pimped out to the latest versions (but you knew that already right ;)

Dual Booting with Vista, but seriously considering the full switch. I know a lot of people still criticize Ubuntu, but it's really developed into a user friendly version of Linux and that's what we need to gain market share.
- tcpip4lyfe, on 10/19/2007, -5/+35I've been using it since beta and it is rock solid.
- RetroRufio, on 10/19/2007, -0/+28Possibly? Most definitely, can't imagine the boss being to happy about a high-res ASS on my monitor.

(i'll be waiting for a reply) - fr34k5h0w, on 11/13/2007, -0/+14You mean the release in April will be an LTS right?
- dan537, on 10/19/2007, -1/+15please keep your hate to yourself.
- DirtySnachez, on 10/19/2007, -1/+15Take it elsewhere, thanks.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! - merdiesel, on 10/20/2007, -0/+13Thanks *****... now I look like the biggest ***** perv in my local library.
- Ellipsys, on 11/06/2007, -0/+12Downloading as I type! I wonder how stable the x64 version is.... Every release it seems like *buntu pushes linux forward into usability. It may not be the perfect distro for everyone, but for many people its the first version of linux that feels like an operating system, not a puzzle to be pieced together.
- Deciders, on 10/19/2007, -1/+13It's really only useful if you have a limited internet connection ... which is ironic because you need a good connection to obtain a DVD iso.
- r00tus3r, on 10/19/2007, -2/+14OHHHHHHHH YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH BABY !!!
I think I'm going for a fresh install this time around. - michnaugh1, on 10/19/2007, -0/+12Today. In Ubuntu Gutsy, open terminal and type "sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop". Now you have Ubuntu and Xubuntu 7.10 . Log out, when you login you can choose between Gnome desktop environment and XFCE desktop environment.
- freshgrease, on 11/13/2007, -2/+13Sometimes you have to lead the horse to water AND make it drink by force.

- MattBD, on 10/19/2007, -1/+12I've used both Ubuntu and Vista Home Premium, and I'll tell you now, Ubuntu is a FAR superior OS.
- Ub3rg33k, on 10/19/2007, -0/+11If you find bugs in Gutsy Gibbon, PLEASE REPORT THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ - polyGone, on 11/13/2007, -1/+12Yes, download the torrent. Burn the ISO. Reboot with CD in and select entire disk, when you get to the formatting part.
EDIT: Ok, i looked at your profile and you don't seem like a fanboy......so now I feel bad............don't do that............... - Ub3rg33k, on 10/19/2007, -0/+11I've got 1.5Mb/s down and pushing 7.5Mb/s up right now.

Note: I dont use debain based distros but recommend Ubuntu :) - realityiswhere, on 10/21/2007, -0/+10Buried because you're an idiot.
- inactive, on 10/18/2007, -0/+10Is it just me or did I spot some camel toe there
- Ub3rg33k, on 10/18/2007, -2/+12He asked for opinions, I gave one, and I get dugg down for it? How does that work?
- oobuntu, on 10/18/2007, -1/+10Not forgetting Kubuntu
http://releases.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/7.10/ - Coldkill, on 10/21/2007, -1/+10Buried as pcpimpster
- medeshago, on 11/13/2007, -1/+10The next version is LTS.
- Ub3rg33k, on 10/18/2007, -5/+14Its more eye candy and "Mac like" in my opinion, but it does seems slightly less stable and requires more system resources. Solely my opinions and experiences though.
