OS2World: The Swedish OOXML vote has been declared invalid!

os2world.com — The Swedish Standards Institute has tonight issued a press release where they declared this weeks earlier vote regarding OOXML as invalid and by that Sweden don't have any official position regarding OOXML any more.

    Still it's only an abstain but at least that is one less vote for this monstrosity.

    I get the feeling that it is going to go the same way ODF/OOXML was going in the States, there where a few places that went ODF but a majority ended up getting either brought out by MS, threatened, FUD'd or just lied to about which was which (California) (although oddly enough Texus went with ODF). I don't see much hope for ODF unfortunately :(

I'm sure the paragons of capitalism who think bribery is a valid business tactic have nothing but the utmost respect for how they have responded to this.
