- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14That's because everyone is too busy hacking away at the code.
- feanor512, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Hopefully now someone will backport it to S60 1st and 2nd edition.
- RADicalSatDude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This is great, this should give Opera devs incentive to work even harder. I love competation and I love Opera!
- pope7, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7It has the words 'open source' in it! Dugg!
- pornel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Opera for S60 passes Acid2 test and supports AJAX. I wonder if they have anything left to work on ;D

Please note that ALL *new* Nokia "S60 3rd Edition" phones come with two browser: the browser mentioned here, and another one -- a straight port from S40 -- that is able to do WAP. You see, the Webcore-based S60 browser does not support WAP, neither it can reformat tables to fit on screen. - drizek, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5w00t, go khtml
- hordak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wonder how it will compare up against Opera Mobile; my current browser of choice on my Nokia 6680.
- TheAttacks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think it's just because it's sort of an "off" topic.
- drizek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2webkit passes acid2 as well, im not sure if thats already in this new browser though.
- carrmatt, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4It happens from time to time. Everyone is too busy submitting stories but no one has the time to read them.
- jethro1010, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Well I didn't know, so it's news to me.
Thanks - howie, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2What's new, exactly?
The S60 browser is based on KHTML, which is LGPL. Nokia has no choice but to make their code available. This is not news.
The browser was also announced a long time ago. The browser is not news.
So where's the actual news here? - redblur, on 10/12/2007, -8/+6don't think I've ever seen an article hit the front page w/ no comments yet.

hacking what code? Just delete your friends to get rid of the eye-sore green font and the craptastic mouse-over effect. Done.
