... Have you never heard of Unix, Linux, BSD, etc?
Only closed source OSs I know of are Windows and (mostly) Mac OS, possibly Solaris but I haven't researched that OS. - inboxnews, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It's pretty sweet! I like the built in rss feeds, and the ability to add your own feed. Plus they have 'groups', something digg needs imo. It's worth checking out. +digg
- schestowitz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This makes me woner if commercial CMS's have any place in our industry. This seems to expand... Open Source Web browsers... soon operating systems. Open Source prevails and explodes. I don't think Drupal and WordPress should worry about NewsCloud though...
- idealogus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1NewsCloud is meant to work with blog tools such as WordPress - and is more news-oriented than Drupal. There is blog this integration with WordPress now. While Drupal is really for small to medium-sized organizations that want to run Web sites, NewsCloud is for sites that are news-centric e.g. communities revolving around news stories. That said - Drupal plug-ins to work with NewsCloud would be very cool.
