As a part time Windows advocate, I find your inability to use proper English to insult the Linux users atrocious and revoke your liscense to use our shoddy OS of choice. - lieutenant_ro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1apropos indeed! The apropos command was new to me! Just when I thought I had a decent handle on the *nix CLI... I am humbled with new stuff... even after 6 years of using Linux on everything! Good job on the Cheat Sheet.
- DarkHorizon5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, if the name applies properly to the files... pixelbeat is the original creator. Although some people may think he nicked it off the other page, the .css file is named pixelbeat.css!
Great tips, and isn't as bad as other duplicates have been. - juliemu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love you dragular...
- link470, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0and thanks for the cheat sheet, very useful
- link470, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol, nice ^^^
- sudonim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Its ok man, at least you'll still get less spyware crap than most users do on xp. Then again some dll file might just go 'missing' , ME just defines dll hell.
- ralphzor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sweet, this will come in handy when I venture into Knoppix.
Ready to phase Windows out. - almost_human, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't get a connection to the server :-/
Gimme that Sheet! :-) - RodLightning, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Thanks dude. This page just got saved to my reference dir.
All these GUIs have made my keyboard skills atrophe. I love seeing info like this still being thrown around in our age of dumbed down computer users. - linuxgirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0dragular not ME... noo..
- clubgus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wish i had a cheat sheet like this when I was at Uni doing Computer Science subjects C++ back in 2001 using Redhat, like I said I really needed a cheat sheet (I was a windowz person) like this to probably be more proficient in using Linux otherwise I wouldn't be able to use Code Warrior for Linux today or mount floppy disks, and I be stuck using Quincy C++ for Windows. But luck was on my side and I learned the commands of Linux by attending CS Lab Tuts.
