- heathenx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i work for a company that actually switched from windows to linux servers based on "get the facts". i guess it sometimes works against microsoft, huh.
- fernando494, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So, how many more votes do we need to have enough to get on the front page? Do anybody know? Can we ask people to vote maybe. I want to put this "get the faxts" in everybody's nose so they can see what Microsoft do to Linux people.
- gorgon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm new to this site. So, I'm just learning to get around. I found this thread and I read it. I hate those awful Microsoft ads. I don't think peole outside the Linux community know about them.
I've been a Mac user for a long time. My husband put yellow dog on my Cube and I eventually started using it full time. Now, I use SUSE 10. I migrated from JDS.
I never see anything nasty from Microsoft about Apple. But they treat Linux users like dirt. Why, because we don't use their junk?
I have to use XP at work and it's locked down by our IT department. I have like three applications I can use. So, Windows is little more than a terminal. In fact that's what everyone calls it - a terminal.
I vote for this post. - dinotrac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Ever notice that Microsoft never runs a "Get ALL the facts" campaign?
- fernando494, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I would like to see Microsoft's response to this article since they've been escalating this campaign this week and probably into the holidays.
I must tell my freinds to at least read it. - tuxchick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When a company starts paying all kinds of attention to a competitor, they're in trouble. It's a well-known dictum of marketing that you do not name your competition- if you can't market your own products, likely your own products suck.
- fernando494, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I always wondered why Microsoft needed a get the facts campaign myself. If they are so good why do they need to go after Red Hat? Think about it. Red hat does $100 million in sales and Microsoft does $34 billion. Doesn't make any sense. They must best more than Red Hat sells. Crazy man.
- tadelste, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Microsoft has really jacked up the propaganda this week. It would be nice to see something countering their claims. The usual Editors haven't stood up this week.
- helios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Let's get this out...bloggers such as myself should link to it, trackbacks...the usual suspects. Of course, Windoze users are usually in a world of their own and pay no attention to stuff like this. MS counts on their laziness and ignorance to maintain their market share. It's the inquisitive and disgruntled MS user we need to target.

- antiTRACE, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0What a load of crap. MS has its place, and so does Linux. I've been apart of datacenters with over 5000 servers - and guess what, we had each OS. The smart companies who know what they are doing 9e.g. not blinded by someone's FANBOY wet dreams (either that be Apple, Linux, or Windows) knows how to run a datacetner, and knows which OS to use for what purpose.
