- bennop, on 10/12/2007, -7/+21Someone discovered Adobe Photoshop is a fun programme, and now they are frontpage on digg?!
Talk about appealing to the Digg market.
No Digg. - benplaut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I feel inclined to put in a word for The Gimp
(It is included with ubuntu, after all!) - patience, on 10/12/2007, -8/+18pathetic
- jus1haz2, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13Why would it be real?
- dr00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6it's just semantics, but he IS saying it is fake.
- scbysnx, on 10/30/2007, -0/+5that was profound.. you should write a book
- Promantarius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Perhaps you should file it under comedy next time, it may be better received when people aren't looking for serious articles :)
- LordSkywalker, on 11/02/2007, -5/+9I don't see how Bill Gates recommending Ubuntu is a good thing. I wouldn't want it.
- scbysnx, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6"ok, this is lame"
- Myztry, on 11/02/2007, -0/+2It's false and misleading. But then so are the Microsoft propaganda advertisements that mention Linux.
At least there is tongue in cheek humor with this. Rather than outright deception. - Inglorion, on 10/19/2007, -0/+2Is this an attempt to steer people AWAY from Ubuntu? Nearly worked on me.
- markdr123, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well of course it's a sodding fake. Someone just got Photoshop.
- CkMaverick, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Well, we all know its obviously fake. Either way though, Bill Gates could stand up and tell the world Windows is a flaming pile of crap and Microsoft will still make billions off of Vista. Microsoft has the computer industry (especially the global economy) by the balls, technically they could say whatever they want and still own the market for now.
- Hieroglyphics, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0@Maskawanian "No! Your lame.."
The day he says "I recommend Ubuntu" is the day he realizes that his stock dropped to 0.. - towner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0and Bill does know a thing or two about software
- Maskawanian, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2"ok, this is lame"
- nullmind, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3I think it's became important that we need a section for fake content, or that fake content be flagged as fake so that people (who value their time, even at 2:30am) can use this site to sift through interesting things.
I find it funny, but I'm just putting my two cents in on the flagging idea.
Cheers,
Kris - V1ncent, on 10/22/2007, -18/+2Microsoft could buy Linux since its free :-)
- herrshuster, on 10/12/2007, -33/+8IF it's fake? you mean even though it's fake
