- techtvforever, on 10/11/2007, -16/+4I got some Ubuntu Stickers. I think Ubuntus like mac. They Should put "Linux for Mac People" instead of "Linux for human beings". KDE all the way. Go Kubuntu. A few extra progs would be nice on the disc too. I go SUSE 10 because its got it all (almost).
- bobothn, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13you obviously have never gone to the package manager in ubuntu. it has thousands of apps with one click installs. I prefer that then to having them on the disk because then you only have to download one disk and the apps you want instead of having to download 6 cd's before you install. but to each their own that is the reason their are so many different distribution of linux because it gives each person the choice to get what they want. also "Linux for human beings" is ubuntu's slogan. it is for humans not just for techs.
