- mandarin, on 07/03/2008, -5/+69Whats wrong with her hair? Looks like a shape of a furry hat.
- majglow, on 07/03/2008, -7/+48Mobile devices do need an open source browser. Good thing there is Webkit.
Oh wait... by open source browser you mean firefox. Should probably change the description to avoid confusion. - seeyounorth, on 07/03/2008, -5/+47Is that a buzz cut on the front of her head? *Just read her wiki and the haircut is intentional...hmm...*
More on topic, Skyfire web browser is very nice if you can't wait forever for Mozilla to come up with something. - rubaaan, on 07/03/2008, -0/+33http://www.vimeo.com/1152218
here's a preview of what it might look like - bioviral, on 07/03/2008, -3/+32Woooah, 3D hair.
- originaladam, on 07/03/2008, -2/+31Opera mini does a pretty damn good job, and has for a few years now. Its feature rich and keeps getting better.
- specialK16, on 07/03/2008, -1/+23The difference is that Minimo sucks.
- vcudigg, on 07/03/2008, -2/+23Hair shaped like the fox in the Firefox logo? Celebrating the most downloads world record? Lost a bet? The world may never know...
- PixC, on 07/03/2008, -1/+20The lady's hair in the picture looks strange.
- GregFD3S, on 07/03/2008, -5/+19Its about time, Opera Mobile is taking a ***** on me.
- Kaiyu, on 07/03/2008, -0/+13just saw your other comment (on google approaches to social networking):
"Google is stupid. Google fanboys are the most annoying part about google. Oh wow they give out free food to google employees! Wow talk about benefits! no other employee gives free food right? But omg the got a ping pong table, holy *****!!!!!!
shut the ***** up."
I see you use this site to vent your poor life, yeah...internet is free - Thorpe, on 07/03/2008, -0/+12Damn. You got me looking at her hair now.
- MikeCerm, on 07/03/2008, -1/+11So, you say Opera is better, and then you say that you only use Firefox because it's better. That makes sense.
- beingdevious, on 07/03/2008, -0/+9minimo was discontinued.
- dcmjzero, on 07/03/2008, -1/+10interesting technology... i don't see it going anywhere. i would prefer a real web browser instead. what happens if the skyfire servers go down?
- insanebrain, on 07/03/2008, -2/+10firefox mobile. . isn't that called minimo ?? (which sucks btw)
- bevans, on 07/03/2008, -1/+9Great. First goatse, now her haircut. The internets are doomed.
- TomTruelle, on 07/04/2008, -0/+7BAHAHA
she reminds me of the evil guy from the fifth element. - iofthestorm, on 07/03/2008, -5/+12Webkit is open source, but mobile safari isn't. Webkit is just the rendering engine.
- VirusClock, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7Buried for OLD NEWS
- lvlln, on 07/03/2008, -1/+8The fact that when a tab loses its cache, it also loses its forward/back information. That's just inexcusable. The iPod Touch and the iPhone are powerful enough devices to save a list of URLs for each tab. It makes tabbed browsing unusable on mobileSafari, and really, if you can't do tabbed browsing, you might as well not be browsing.
- boiceboy, on 07/03/2008, -0/+7I agree, Mini is awesome. Especially on EVDO w/sprint. My iPhone toting friend is always amazed at how fast I pull stuff up
- santaliqueur, on 07/03/2008, -4/+11You sound like someone who is bitter about scanning for vulnerabilities. Or being touched by your creepy uncle.
- basevillin, on 07/03/2008, -3/+9Mullet fail!
- sephiroth4, on 07/04/2008, -1/+7LMAO! ridiculous.
- cwiz7, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6Did anyone read the comments on that page? I almost fell out of my chair laughing so hard.
- Macskeeball, on 07/03/2008, -0/+6Referrals from Google searches using the built-in search. They make about $50 million a year from that, and they also take donations.
- lca473, on 07/04/2008, -0/+6It's the firefox fox on her head
- qbthemc, on 07/04/2008, -2/+8fap fap fap.
- MikeCerm, on 07/03/2008, -1/+7Just because Safari is garbage doesn't mean that Mozilla couldn't make a good iPhone browser. Firefox 3 has done well to address all of the issues Firefox 2 had, so I'm hopeful that they could make a decent mobile browser.
- ajv570, on 07/03/2008, -1/+6I would love for a firefox browser for my blackberry =D
- rocko_stazetti, on 07/04/2008, -1/+6Firefox for the DS should have been out a long time ago!
- othermaciej, on 07/03/2008, -1/+6> Is there a version of Webkit for Windows Mobile?
Yes. - Thorpe, on 07/03/2008, -0/+5Buried for being a PAIN IN THE ASS
- redheadguy719, on 07/04/2008, -0/+4"i just got me a coon-skin cap!"
- Stwo, on 07/03/2008, -0/+4All I want is Flash support and I would be satisfied
- callmemorbid, on 07/03/2008, -0/+4So do you think they will put a browser out for the iphone through the app store????
- mrsteveman1, on 07/03/2008, -1/+5Yea, i prefer firefox specifically but not because its open source. I'm not gonna modify the code anyway, and if someone does they can no longer call it Firefox anyway. So really the difference is transparency, i can SEE the firefox code, and presumably people are looking over it for security problems that they can't otherwise look at with Opera.
- bblande, on 07/03/2008, -0/+4So....how does Mozilla make money? I really don't know.
- digigal, on 07/03/2008, -0/+4hopefully this will be better than Minimo. Very buggy.
- Barackalypse, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3It sorta reminds me of the hair that girl from Napoleon Dynamite had, minus the sideways pigtail (althoug we can't see the left side of her head in this picture, so who knows).
- chrisvc86, on 07/04/2008, -1/+4While Skyfire may be the most compatible win.mo. browser out there, Opera Mini is absolutely the fastest at rendering pages, even on edge. Looking forward to this and Opera Mobile 9.5.
- AdamFromMyspace, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3They don't even say which OS it's targeted for? I don't like Opera on S60v3.. the default Nokia browser isn't too bad but could use a lot of improvements (downloading stuff is hard/impossible)
- thebriz, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3Interestingly, an Android based phone is set to come out by the end of this year...
- sirbeta, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3Wow, thank you for pointing that out. I would have missed the laughs otherwise.
- jakem1, on 07/03/2008, -0/+3I'm running Opera Mini on my N95 and I love it. It's much faster than the Nokia browser and it renders a lot better. The zoom function on the latest version works perfectly and resizes paragraphs like magic.
- WiZZLa, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2Running PocketIE is the equivalent to running IE6 on WindowsXP. You only have yourself to blame, as you obviously know better.
- Rolcol, on 07/03/2008, -17/+19I'd love to get a mobile version of firefox. Currently I'm using Opera Mini but I prefer open source.
- zdiggler, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2I want a smart phone with browser but I hate paying for Data Plan.
My standard phone have hacked WAP and it just use air time, its also hacked so I can Dial up via BT or USB with their highspeed data service. That only use Air time as well and nights and weekends are free. I'm paying 150 for 3 phones. I don't want to go any higher then that. - st3vo, on 07/04/2008, -0/+2and her name is Mitchell?
