- brettalton, on 01/20/2008, -1/+15Someone should zip all of these. I would digg that...
- GavinZac, on 01/21/2008, -0/+9rar + torrent please
- cheesehound, on 01/20/2008, -1/+8I was really hoping for something that'd allow me to get more paintish effects rather than this generic graphic design-style stamp sets. Oh well. It's not like I ever got pressure sensitivity working on my Linux box, anyhow.
- chapium, on 01/20/2008, -1/+6Excellent. One of the major drawbacks I've come across is *good* sets of templates for open source applications like Gimp and OpenOffice. This is a step in the right direction.
- makario, on 09/03/2009, -0/+5I guess because they're no "open source" category. Although, this could be posted under software...
- inactive, on 01/21/2008, -0/+4I did (Debian Lenny with the cheap Wacom Volito), some xorg.conf settings. I found infos in the ubuntu forums.
Brushes in GIMP are stamps indeed though, nothing of Photoshop's options. And that is really something the GIMP developers should improve, who uses a GUI for productive work anyways. - bliz, on 01/21/2008, -0/+3Why is this under linux/unix though? Gimp's also for windows users who don't want to pirate/pay for photoshop..
- SquigglyP, on 01/20/2008, -2/+5because it's illegal?
because it's illegal. - pendrachken, on 01/21/2008, -0/+3RTFA, he also makes PS brushes.
- protogenxl, on 01/21/2008, -0/+2Dugg for Happy Little Trees
- inactive, on 01/21/2008, -0/+1Dugg and bookmarked. Thanks.
- riverstyx, on 01/23/2008, -0/+1Gimp is really nice, its a shame there aren't more comments and it's still not very popular. I prefer it over photoshop, plus its free and only takes up 50 megs.
- sumeshpremraj, on 01/22/2008, -0/+1@Smek2: Dude, only some of them are to hawksmont....The largest pictures come first, and since they're Hawksmont's, it naturally is first....Next time, read through the list before saying crap, ok?
- TypeEE, on 01/21/2008, -0/+1doesn't the GIMP word tell you that it is for GIMP before you download it?
- inactive, on 01/23/2008, -0/+1Excellent find!!!
- stutimandal, on 01/20/2008, -1/+2This brush set rocks! Thanks.
- ItsSnakeOil, on 01/23/2008, -0/+1Because it common for non-technical people to refer to FOSS as "Linux". It's starting to come into use to refer to regular, that is to say ABM, computing.
- solidus636, on 01/21/2008, -1/+2Oh yeah, because there are gonna be porn-based GIMP brushes, huh?...
- nazsco, on 01/20/2008, -0/+1shouldn't it be called stamp?
- t0ny, on 01/20/2008, -0/+1Nothing the isp could do about, but would require a rewrite of the browser.
- smek2, on 01/21/2008, -0/+1the list is on techzilo.com, but every link to the actual brush leads to hawksmont.com, the real creator. are you stealing traffic like this?
- rotten777, on 01/21/2008, -2/+2yeah who needs to learn how to use things when you can just bash them publicly making yourself look like a fool.....
- syariscrewz, on 06/20/2009, -0/+0nice . love it
free music downloads
http://www.hotsmusic.com/ - Viroz, on 01/20/2008, -3/+3They are crap aside you can get for photoshop. Try deviantart for instance.
- gigatwo, on 01/22/2008, -0/+0Sorry, only a few of them are converted sets. I lied.
- gigatwo, on 01/22/2008, -0/+0Most of these are just converted photoshop sets. It seems pointless now that .abr files can be used in the GIMP. That being said, these are nice sets.
- gigatwo, on 01/28/2008, -0/+0Hey! That's a good idea....
- hardcorerikki, on 01/20/2008, -7/+6looks nice. dugg
- baalzebub, on 01/20/2008, -3/+2i managed to get the 1100 brushes package before it was death by digg, looks like the server is getting hammered by too many requests...
- donna1234, on 07/16/2008, -2/+1A large list of GIMP brushes

http://www.e-uuu.com/ - wondertwins, on 01/20/2008, -4/+2are these coming to brushes in photoshop? they look so nice.
- spoogieking012, on 01/21/2008, -4/+1i downloaded these and realized they weren't for photoshop. does anyone know of any converters or anything?
- ethana2, on 01/20/2008, -4/+1http over p2p would kill the digg effect, but our incompetent ISP's over here in America won't hear of it.
- Viroz, on 01/20/2008, -8/+3Agreed. Photoshop rlz the gimp's ass.
- CrazyBaconLegs, on 01/20/2008, -9/+3Oh. I was thinking paintings of gag-ball wearing, leather-clad masked people and stuff. Huh. Guess it really doesn't make sense when I really think about it.
- Kratisto, on 01/20/2008, -15/+5Why use GIMP when it's so easy to pirate Photoshop? I suppose there's some room for preference, but I always found PS easier to use.
- schestowitz, on 01/20/2008, -22/+5All of them SFW.
