I mean, really it is *more* resource hungry than C or C++ applications, but not by much, and remember, it's completely possible to write a poor/slow/resource hungry application in *any* language not just C#/Java/other language hated on for being "slow"....

Not because that conspiracy ***** from boycottnovell, but because it was much more resource hungry then similar apps made in C or C++. You can say the same to other apps, like Beagle, F-Spot, that are great, but resource hungry and slow
