- gsiliceo, on 06/08/2008, -0/+2Yeah, buried to respect the decision of the devs.
- Appleboi4evr, on 06/08/2008, -0/+2i agree, i should have waited for a official announcement. I'll be watching attentively.
- Atomic1fire, on 06/08/2008, -0/+2A better explanation.
Draft = Something not finished like a rough draft usually goes through some changes and corrections before it becomes a book
Do Not Announce = Dont publicize it (which in your case you just did by posting it on digg) because usually if you announce something before its finished
People tend to think badly of it because they don't hear about updates unless that becomes publicized too.
I am going to bury this out of respect for the devs as well - Appleboi4evr, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1I felt bad afterwards.
However anyone that did grab the banshee repositories should have had a update notification today (June 7) while this was posted/released on June 5 so they did hold off a couple of days before sending it out to everyone (therefor everyone should know soon). So they are going to be publishing a announcement very soon. I didn't post this till after the update rolled out (1 hour exactly). - adila01, on 06/08/2008, -0/+1Yeah, these developers really worked hard on this project. Hats off to Aaron Bockover, Gabriel Burt, Alex Hixon and others for one amazing product. This link should be buried out of respect to them.
- Appleboi4evr, on 06/07/2008, -1/+2i have no idea what "DRAFT - Do Not Announce " means, maybe i'm just a idiot.
the debian/ubuntu repositories have been updated about 2-3 hours ago today and the upcoming opensuse 11 release is supported.

- KevinJim, on 06/08/2008, -1/+1Banshee 1.0 is really great, even thought I hated the early 0.something releases, now they've done it the right way. This comes not an Amarok user rather than Amarok addicted. Well done Banshee Team.
