- wrek, on 09/05/2008, -2/+22I look forward to the day when I can install Linux on my phone and ditch Windows Mobile and all of it's crashing.
- Dylson, on 09/05/2008, -1/+7Die in a fire.
- CalcProgrammer1, on 09/05/2008, -2/+8You got Linux and Iphone OSX backwards, as Linux runs free programs that anyone can write and don't have to be approved by Jobs and friends in order to be allowed on the platform. There's only one thing lower than Windows, and that's the RIAA.
- brianez21, on 09/05/2008, -2/+8Those above comments really suck... ugh
Honestly, ACCESS is really late to the game and playing catchup. They've said they're going to release a Linux mobile phone many times before, and so I won't believe them until I see their software on an actual device in my hands.
This would have made them relevant had they taken Palm OS in this direction year ago. With OpenMOKO and Android already becoming "the big names" in new Linux-based software running on mobile phone, does ACCESS even matter anymore?
I'd really like to see them succeed in this - hopefully they can still leverage the existing base of Palm -- er, Garnet OS -- applications. I still know some Treo holdovers. - absurdist, on 09/05/2008, -0/+5Jesus... you really are just a bitter, angry, petty little person, aren't you.
- lexington86, on 09/05/2008, -1/+690% of diggers think your comment is trash...

- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -0/+4No, Linux is used by Google, Yahoo, NASA, the DoD, etc...I'd say you're wrong.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -1/+5What a load of crap. I've had the MotoQ and Samsung SCH-i760. They crash and need to be rebooted on a regular basis.
Nice try fanboi, but Win Mobile isn't that great and makes me long for the days of Palm OS. - absurdist, on 09/05/2008, -0/+3You're wrong, as usual. Just as you would seem to be about claiming to be female in your profile. I'm betting either you're just confused about your gender identity.
Either that or you hold your balls out of the way for your boyfriend. - inactive, on 09/06/2008, -0/+3Linux seems to work for me.
- smotpoker, on 09/05/2008, -1/+3I think you confused 4chan and jonas bros
- arkaycee, on 09/05/2008, -0/+2Only for international calls and 900 numbers.
- ThatsNotPudding, on 09/06/2008, -1/+3Great name choice; what, was Outlook Express taken?

Well, i'm not gonna front... I have little experience with either. I basically just know what they seem to represent and find 4chan a bit more reprehensible :P - palmdoc, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1Where's the hardware to go with this software?
- Kamujin, on 09/06/2008, -1/+2The "technoid douche bag" statement was directed at the iPhone lemmings.
- inactive, on 09/06/2008, -0/+1How f'ing hard it is to "use" a phone? I mean honestly....
- Elranzer, on 09/07/2008, -0/+1Somewhere in that mess of an OS, is Palm OS. Somewhere between the aging Palm OS5 and never-seen OS6. And hidden within Palm OS6 is BeOS. And to top it off, there's Java. It's honestly just a Borg ***** of operating systems... for my phone!

- Vadi0, on 09/05/2008, -1/+2Tux on a moped is cool.
- ultrafez, on 09/05/2008, -1/+1Will everyone please just shut up with the bitching. Let's just respect each other's opinions, and move on. Yes there are 3 main types of operating system. GET OVER IT. They are TOOLS to get done what you need to do.
- Kamujin, on 09/05/2008, -2/+2Same deal. I have an HTC Hermes. Never crashes.
Ever better, I got all of the features of a 3G iPhone, 2+ years earlier, and I don't have to look like a trendoid douche bag! - thecheatah, on 09/06/2008, -1/+1Thats not a moped its a scooter.
- kragil, on 09/06/2008, -1/+1I had get rid of the crapware&Branding, but then my Diamond beats anything. Opera has _never_ crashed. And I just had 1 freeze because of a crappy app, which I uninstalled right away.
WM 6.1 in its newest incarnation is stable ( If you know how to use it ). - drpcken, on 09/06/2008, -1/+1I heard they wanted to use 'Mojave"
- cawpin, on 09/05/2008, -4/+2That's funny. I run several free programs on my Mac.
- schestowitz, on 09/05/2008, -5/+3I thought it was being conceded by Orange. LiMo and Android can't do it much good.
- drpcken, on 09/06/2008, -4/+2Yea I used an HTC Tilt with WinMobile6 for almost a year, and my wife still does. We have no problems what-so-ever. I'm not a 'fanboi', I'm just telling the truth.
/guess I look like a trendoid douche bag :) - cawpin, on 09/05/2008, -7/+3My WM6 phone doesn't crash at all. Ever.
- artofficial, on 09/05/2008, -10/+2As long as I dont have to do a fuggin sudo command everytime I wanna make a phone call, I'm all for it.
- inactive, on 09/05/2008, -13/+0Windows Mobile FTW! It just works.
