As a general rule, men tend to be more active in technology circles. That probably explains the disproportionate number of males.

Men enjoy researching and tweaking a home theatre system. Women just wants it to work. It's a similiar situation when it comes to computer systems.

Gaim works better than AIM at being AIM 2. FireFox is still firefox (and therefore myspace is still myspace) 3. Theyre Ipods, music phones and more are just so much easier to get working. oh yeah, and 4. when Im working on their computer and they say "should i just buy the new windows? can you get it for me?" and I tell them the pricetag, they then ask about mac, at witch point I show them Ubuntu.
