- FullMetalMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Simplistic and non-annoying images added into Google Ads. I think a similar route will be taken with the AOL ads.
- illynova, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Heeeeeey.... not bad. I guess the AOL deal wasn't totally evil...
- FullMetalMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No need to be an ass man. I thought that people may want to know that the upcoming AOL are probably not going to be EYE SORES as everyone thought!
- EmileVictor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What's this got to do with the AOL ads?

http://www.mediahug.com/ - FullMetalMonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I am saying that the AOL ads will most likely look like this.
- markymoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Don't know why people are digging this - Google have done "special" versions of their ads on days like halloween, thanks giving, etc..
This is nothing new and will be nothing like the AOL ads.. do some research before you post crap like this - skytimelapse, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0"nothing new..."
Maybe not for the rest of the Internet, but because it may be one day for G Adwords, it's very new and risky. I have an account and a lot of my money I spend on Adwords. If my competition starts using images, then I might start just to see what happens. I wish they were not doing this for many reasons, but of course the corporate shill inside me is curious as to what happens. - hayden.evans, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0three words. What. The. *****.
THEY ARE ***** ADS! ARE U THAT BIG OF A DOUCHE?! do collect stamps and play Parcheesi as well? - syah, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'm agree with you...
- Seumas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I didn't see any google ad images in the blog this digg linked to. Were there supposed to be some? There was a link to a couple google image searches and one link to the main adwords page and that was it.
Anyway - who really cares what google does with advertisements? Simple enough to block them out with AdBlock -- and if it came down to it, GreaseMonkey. *shrug* - Zorn, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I had to turn off Adblock to see them. Thank goodness I can turn it back on AND NOT HAVE TO SEE ADS. I already pay for broadband, I purchased my computer and I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ADS. If I want to consider buying something, I will do so in my own time and at my own initiative. Advertising can go to hell.
- dreaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Just for the record, this has nothing to do with AOL. It actually has to do with Yahoo!: since they launched Yahoo! Publisher Network they're adding new features to AdSense such as On Site Advertising and this. This is also on Google Search, just search here in digg and you'll find it.
- aywwts4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I already pay for broadband, I purchased my computer and I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ADS. If I want to consider buying something, I will do so in my own time and at my own initiative. Advertising can go to hell."
Yes, because your broadband account came with a paid subscription to all the websites content that you view... - Zulithe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I had to disable my adblock filter to see what the new ads look like. ^__^
Then, I quickly enabled it again. - tomasvilda, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's not a story, but total crap that is anyhow relative to AOL ads
- haloevo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is only going on for another 6 days, haha...
- haloevo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"I had to disable my adblock filter to see what the new ads look like. ^__^

The ad was in .gif format, you liar. - insomniak29, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0^^ It is a GIF, with a filename of "AdSense_themed_ad2-795000.GIF," which means he very well may have had an Adblock filter that matched to it and blocked the GIF file. Don't be so quick to call someone a liar just because something doesn't make sense to you immediately.
- Kiltak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ahaha. I prefer text one, less annoying
- piesforyou, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh, they arn't too bad.
- zqwerty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes I have to turn off Adblock to see the ads, nothing to see here, turn Adblock back on. Ahhhhhhhh.
- jeremiahx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0um... adsense has had the themes in it for a couple of months now... has nothing to do with AOL... These are for holiday themes mostly.
- mentor972, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nothing to do with AOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
