- Benjamintc, on 10/25/2008, -0/+288Nifty how he made the puck completely invisible.
- ABadPerson, on 10/26/2008, -1/+132Only Canadians can see the puck.
- mingohills, on 10/25/2008, -3/+104Dugg, but definitely would be better with a cleaner replay.
- Clancycoop, on 10/26/2008, -1/+92Dugg because I had to deduce from the announcer's excitement that something cool actually happened.
- fpaudon, on 10/26/2008, -2/+80I liked the part where Marchant was floating in Mid Air
oh wait - kbeeveer46, on 10/25/2008, -1/+72I'm not digging this until someone links to a video where you can actually see something.
- Jeffler, on 10/25/2008, -4/+72http://www.nhl.tv/team/console.jsp?hlg=20082009,2, ... :)
- skunkman62, on 10/26/2008, -0/+68YouTube + Hockey not a good combination
- u8eR, on 10/26/2008, -1/+64Slow motion with different angles:

- mrblue182, on 10/26/2008, -1/+51I cant see it.....
- monsterman1994, on 10/26/2008, -2/+49http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A0MlA-LJYc&fmt=18
a quality version about 30 seconds in you can see it
someone before posted same vid but &fmt=18 makes it high quality for better viewing - daniel232, on 10/26/2008, -3/+38Americans need a red circle around the puck.
- Alias1431, on 10/26/2008, -0/+31Append &fmt=18 to the end of the url. Helps with audio too.
- rossiohead, on 10/26/2008, -0/+27http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A0MlA-LJYc
Replay is better on this one, and it's easier to figure out (based on commentary) where/when the contact is made. - NextGenXbox, on 10/26/2008, -2/+29I can't see *****.
- Jeffler, on 10/26/2008, -1/+21Actually, my upload was just a piece of *****. My TV tuner broke down a few weeks ago, and I've been relying on web streams. Most of my recordings are usually more than easy to see.
I ordered a new tuner, but there was a shipping mistake and I got an empty box yesterday. A new package has been sent out and I'll be recording normally again next week. - maxer64, on 10/26/2008, -3/+22Oh myyy! I definitely could see exactly what happened.
- winmywii, on 10/26/2008, -0/+192 hockey videos on digg in a week? Awesome
- Virgule, on 10/26/2008, -0/+15Just add 'fmt=18' at the end of the URL for better image quality. Such as:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4XkfKGC8Pg&fmt=18 - HiKevinRose, on 10/26/2008, -0/+15Ohhh, that's what happened. The white guy passed the puck up into the air and the red guy tried to grab it and drop it in front of him but when he dropped it the white guy near him hit it before it hit the ground and the puck went into the goal.
- MaLLiii, on 10/26/2008, -0/+14this ***** needs some hd
- Eldorian, on 10/26/2008, -2/+13I like the part where the puck went in the net
- Jeffler, on 10/26/2008, -0/+10To compliment HKR's post
"The White Guy" = Teemu Selanne
"Red Guy" = Jason Smith
"White Guy Near Him" = Todd Marchant - shownoregrets, on 10/26/2008, -1/+11that's what she said.
- aguita, on 10/26/2008, -0/+9It's much easier to see in this version. The player caught the puck and was dropping it to the ground when Marchant simply hit the puck while it was in midair. Awesome, lucky shot that the goalie didn't see coming.
- Generik777, on 10/26/2008, -0/+9Set the video to play in high quality. It's a night and day difference.
- rossiohead, on 10/26/2008, -0/+9If the puck is in the air, you're allowed to "catch" it so long as you immediately drop it on the ice at your feet (i.e., no passing to team-mates or batting it in a different direction), and you don't close your hand fully around the puck (so really it's more like swatting it out of the air than catching it).
Hockey is an excellent spectator sport: it combines speed, skill, physicality, and tactics in a reasonable mix. It's a personal preference of course, but of the big American three I find baseball too slow, basketball too "fast" (scoring points every few seconds), and football too cluttered, but even so, none of them are really "*****" sports. - Daniel591992, on 10/26/2008, -1/+10The web designer that made that site should be killed.
- Jeffler, on 10/26/2008, -3/+11Well, I *did* submit it, so yes, yes it was.
- TheDeuce53, on 10/26/2008, -1/+9You win man... you win
- Rikushix, on 10/26/2008, -1/+8I can see the puck now. Just barely. Thanks for the new link.
- z00k, on 10/26/2008, -0/+7Saw it that time... Nice.
- sheldonnbbaker, on 10/26/2008, -1/+8http://watch.tsn.ca/nhl/clip106101#clip106101
Slightly better quality. - palpacino, on 10/26/2008, -0/+7not your fault it made it to the front page.
- Jeffler, on 10/25/2008, -6/+13Best I could find, sorry guys about the quality.
- iMiXiMi, on 10/26/2008, -0/+6i would have rather been rick rolled
- dc5mike, on 10/26/2008, -0/+6Dugg because hockey is crazy good!
- sheldonnbbaker, on 10/26/2008, -0/+5The video highlights are obviously of lesser quality...
You can see the puck quite well actually watching a game on TV. - firebhaal, on 10/26/2008, -1/+6http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9A0MlA-LJYc
they show a different angle slowmo - TheDeuce53, on 10/26/2008, -1/+5Alias..
you win - palpacino, on 10/26/2008, -2/+6Definitely a better video, but still can't see the dang thing.
Anyone recall a few years ago when the NHL did that thing where the puck was lit up on the screen sort of like hey they do the first down line in football?
It seems like I heard someone say they took it out because people didn't like it, but I only saw it once maybe. Wtf? - DeFex, on 10/26/2008, -0/+4This is one time where that fox puck trail glow thing would have been useful.
- etsboy1, on 10/26/2008, -0/+4I did not know that, thank you./
- Mutton, on 10/26/2008, -2/+6HOME RUN!!!!
- Lokomis, on 10/26/2008, -0/+4Better quality but still hard to see. Enough for me to Digg it though.
- inactive, on 10/26/2008, -1/+4I want a closer slow-mo
- ghuytro, on 10/26/2008, -0/+3Much better video of the play!
- cocainxbluez, on 10/26/2008, -0/+3I watch hockey all the time and even I couldn't tell wtf happened in that other video, so thank you.
- BrokenVisage, on 10/26/2008, -0/+3Oh my!
