- vpshockwave, on 05/19/2008, -2/+12It's already on the front page. We don't need 2 of them.
- ultraJesus, on 05/19/2008, -2/+11Buried for being old.
- jggube, on 05/19/2008, -1/+7Good for them, it's a well-deserved win.
- chanop, on 05/19/2008, -1/+7There's this thing over to the right they call a "scroll bar". Go ahead and go over to it and pull it down about 6 articles, and you'll see this:

At least it's not just happening with Hillary/Obama stories - upick, on 05/19/2008, -1/+5Not a Russian fan but they deserver the win! good on them
- IphtashuFitz, on 05/19/2008, -1/+4Buried. Dupe of another article already on the main page: http://digg.com/hockey/Russia_beats_Canada_wins_20 ...
- dbarefoot, on 05/19/2008, -3/+5That's fair enough. We've got to let them win occasionally, or else their program will fold.
- Jeffler, on 05/19/2008, -1/+3No, but me and several others submitted the actual article in question. Since you didn't submit it right afterwards, at least one had to come up in your potential list of duplicates.
Look, I'm sorry for complaining, but Top Diggers shouldn't be able to lounge in, knowingly submit a dupe, and make it ahead just because of who they are. Sorry for bugging though, as long as one of these makes the front page its good, I guess. - RiverBelow, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1Malkin and Datsyuk are NOT the best Russians.
Though Malkin will be. - mrhedges, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1The game finished around 3pm yesterday, no one could have posted this sooner? Oh wait, someone did. Regardless, it was an exciting match. Whenever a game heads to OT, all bets are off... I've never been a huge Cam Ward fan.
- dimmerswitch, on 05/19/2008, -1/+2Dupe? You submitted an actual story from TSN as well? Send me the link, I'd be happy to digg it.
- tbunreal, on 05/19/2008, -1/+2Gah, what are we Candians without a gold medal in HOCKEY, that's the one thing we're good at =[ .
- GuitarHeroDenn, on 05/19/2008, -2/+3In Soviet Russia, gold wins you.
- jedisushi, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1Duplicate stories get buried, even in Soviet Russia.
- VanD, on 05/19/2008, -0/+1I still can't believe it.
Watching it, Canada up 3 - 1
I go to my hockey game, and check the score after, 5 - 4 Russians in OT.
Heart Broken is right. - inactive, on 05/19/2008, -1/+1The Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. No more commies in Russia homey.
- phavn, on 05/19/2008, -1/+1Getting cocky aren't ya now?
- oldhick, on 05/19/2008, -1/+1There are plenty o' commies still in Russia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communist_Party_of_th ...
- jlgosse, on 05/19/2008, -1/+1You're forgetting that two of the best Russians (arguably) in the NHL are still in the playoffs, and were therefore not playing in the IIHF Championships, plus god knows who else. I'm talking about Malkin and Datsyuk, by the way.
- channelx, on 05/19/2008, -2/+1Who cares, they both suck.
- beerstudd14, on 05/19/2008, -2/+1All I can say is wait for the olympics...when all the countries have their BEST. Nothing bad to say about the Russians, they took it to the Canadians and won, and have alot of stars. But I have a feeling the Oylmpics will be a little different with guys like Crosby in the lineup for Canada. Think about how many quality Canadian players turned down a spot on this team and we still had the best team on paper in this tourny.
- Jeffler, on 05/19/2008, -8/+2Dupe by a longshot. Plus you didn't say what they won, or against who, until the description.
