- Cglass, on 10/12/2007, -0/+35It was like you were describing your comment, amazing!
- cabelsa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21Not to burst your Internet Guy Grump Bubble, but I promise you -- deeply and sincerely -- that I replaced the sign with the dumb soup (I slid the replacement in front) and that the photo is real, taken with my Sony Ericsson K790a.
(If you'd like me to send you the original full-sized photo, so you can check the EXIF data and do whatever kind of Super Internet Guy CSI Forensics necessary to prove myself, just toss me an e-mail.)
For the record, I never once claimed it was a GREAT prank, just a retardlarious lunchtime amusement. It was titled "Stupid Subway Prank" for a reason, dammit! :) - kd1s, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I really like the Cream of Regret soup. Ate that for 18 months after leaving a job I was at for four years.
- omgitscolin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12And another lame ass comment on it!
- awm4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9One of my friends when I was in High school figured out that the street name signs could be modified by carefully peeling the lettering off with a razor blade. He would then rearrange the letters and put the sign back on the post. Then he would then see how long the signs would stay up before the city would take them down.
My favorites were:
Diarrhea Way
AssEaterHo Rd.
MossyCock Ln.
Imagine if you returned from work to see that you now lived on AssEaterHo Rd. - emceepecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9One bowl of Children Con Carne please!
- ho0ber, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Yeah, your comment is unrelated, but Improv Everywhere is amazing, so you still get my digg.
- JimmyDushku, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Got one to lower Starbucks prices?
- Thuktun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Which mission are you referring to? Their "Subway" ones are on a subway train, not in a Subway restaurant.
- Munkey106, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Nicely done!
- BenDuffy, on 10/12/2007, -11/+16This "Prank" was much better executed by Improv Everywhere.
Their pranks just rock the house.... http://www.improveverywhere.com/missions.php
SloMo Home Depot & their Best Buy gags are way fun. - starvo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Well, ask them for something that doesn't taste like crap*. After they fall to the floor (due to laughter at your request) then slip the replacement sign in. Voila! Bison soup for everyone.
* Despite saying this, I eat at subway at least once a week. So long as you don't get any mayo/mustard/sauce, it's really not that terrible of a bland-sandwich. - beatmonger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I knew a guy that completely changed the name of a FLICKER AVE sign with just a small piece of tape.
I miss high school. - kton25, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yes!
I forgot about the printer insert prank on cockeyed. Brilliantly subtle.
This had me rolling.

- reason78, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2reminds me of a cockeyed.com prank
- zaph47, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2that reminds of the list of celebrity myspace pages everyone fell for...
http://www.celluloidandvinyl.com/2006/04/18/celebrity-myspace-top-8s/ - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So how do you get it up without them seeing?
- Broccoli, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I liked it, id love to see some one try and order it.
- nepawoods, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't get it. But then I'm not familiar with Subway. I take it they don't serve Bison Noodle Soup? Bison (often called Buffalo) is served in many restaurants as a very low cholesterol alternative to beef. It isn't such a ludicrous notion that they might have Bison Noodle Soup.

The cockeyed McDonald's aple pie american pie prank was awesome! - nepawoods, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.google.com/search?q=%22bison+soup%22
See? - DRTED, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Your right this isn't the matrix, good job hacking their lingos
- slatkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1BenDuffy is an idiot

- sportbucket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And I'm pretty sure the "Cream Of Regret" is referring to this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regret_%28horse%29 - joshlewis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hilarious!! I can't believe some people have such horrible senses of humor that they can't see how funny this is. It subtle, it's ludicrous, it's at least two other $5 words.
Bravo, Cabel! - sportbucket, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Comment hack!
- colincornaby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Almost makes me want to go back inside a Subway. Recently I've been sticking to Togos thought. Which is difficult, the nearest one in the Seattle area is over in Bellevue.
- irishjays, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I agree, our office uses the phrase, "Want to go drink some subway?" Cause it tastes like water, and goes through you just as fast.
- dstywho, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0bison is actually delicious.
- andy101, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Oops. Doesn't work.
- Pic0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1HACK?
- DRTED, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0EAT THAT JARED, YOUVE BEEN PWNED
- teamgwho, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I can hear the jingle now... Subwayyyyyy! Eat Flesh!
- opnickc, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1"Here are four .pdf alternates we've prepared for you. Just print out, trim on the dotted lines, and simply slide it into the soup slot (oo-er!) of your own local Subway. It can go in front of the existing card, *for massive non-damage*."
Ok, it's official. This post has absolutely nothing to do with video games, yet there it is.
"for massive damage" is the new "all your base". - sportbucket, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Well, that's why it's posted under "Health". Apparently there's no section for "mildly amusing and stupid". (Yet.)
- VeganG, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Stop calling everything a "hack." You do not live in the ***** Matrix.
- hypnotizd, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1I'll take a bowl of "Cream of Regret"
- stylerm, on 10/12/2007, -13/+2I concur. Article can be summarized:
"I came up with a great idea for a prank that is not that funny. However, I am too much of a coward to attempt it. This is what a photoshop of this prank might look like. If anyone does it let me know, and take a picture." - scabbers, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2F'in yawn.
- lamestory, on 10/12/2007, -19/+2another day, another lame ass post on digg.
- JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -35/+2Pointless. Period.
