- tambird, on 06/28/2008, -4/+62Yes bad sex or no sex can lead to a whole host of relationship problems. But sex like sleep is important for your well being period. Get more of both!
- GenghisKahana, on 06/28/2008, -5/+40Night Terror? My G/F's a Night Terror when she sleeps: Hogging the sheets, snoring, thrashing about.
- suntzusputnik, on 06/29/2008, -1/+28i've had the sleep paralysis thing before. it was the scariest ***** i've ever experienced.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis - chrisfarley, on 06/28/2008, -2/+27#7: You officially have a social life & a job.
- Motivaaator, on 06/28/2008, -2/+24the night terror is the worst. or weird anxiety about lack of sleep that actually prevents sleep, even after days of way too little.
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -3/+22***** you Divine Caroline.
- bassman12593, on 06/29/2008, -1/+18Can we please ban divine caroline articles from digg?
- misspiggymess, on 06/28/2008, -2/+16#8: Pissed off cat who's trying to sleep
- KatoHamatsu, on 06/28/2008, -3/+16This explains it all: I'm a fat, terrified, limp, paralyzed klutz who likes to talk about my indiscretions too much. Need to get more sleep.
- romistrub, on 06/29/2008, -1/+14Man, for the longest time, when I was younger, I kept having the most ***** up dream.
Everything is dark as all hell. I feel like I'm laying down, but the world is upright. This pair of faded blue eyes (blind?) is off very, very far in the distance. They are accompanied by the vague semi-outline of a young woman's face. As I try to make out the face, I blink, and every time my eyes open again, the eyes/face are closer. After about the 2nd or 3rd blink, I get freaked out, and refuse to open my eyes again. At this point, I feel a hot breath on my face/neck, freak the ***** out, and wake up in a spaz.
Even thinking about this makes me squirmy. Weird stuff. - dangermouse4, on 06/28/2008, -0/+11Does that include sex with yourself?
- MTessa, on 06/28/2008, -0/+10I would think so. At least to some extent. Human intimacy counts as well as a sexual release. But both of them together is probably better.
- NCecil, on 06/29/2008, -0/+8I've had sleep paralysis before, and it also scared the ***** out of me. However, THIS didn't happen:
"In addition, the state may be accompanied by terrifying hallucinations"
Which is a good thing, because I was already pretty close to ***** my pants... - blarch, on 06/29/2008, -0/+6http://www.wikihow.com/Fall-Asleep
- Zaneris, on 06/29/2008, -0/+6Damn dude...
- eryximachus, on 06/29/2008, -0/+5Personally, my sex drive is very low if I only 6 hours or less per night.
I went on a 2-week vacation recently, and I was pretty amazed how I was up for sex 3 times a day easily. - crapmatic, on 06/29/2008, -0/+5The worst is when there's a guy in a fedora and red & blue striped shirt with a glove of knives. At that point you've definitely got sleep problems.
- bieber, on 06/29/2008, -0/+5Lucky bastard. Last time it happened to me, I saw ***** alien silhouettes moving around on my blinds. Guess how much fun _that_ was.
- shlebede, on 06/29/2008, -0/+5This list is crap. There is no way my sex life could be more dramatic.
- feliks2, on 06/29/2008, -1/+6I used to have this thing happen to me when I was younger, were you awake after physical sensatoin of falling. There is no dream behind it, you just see yourself falling, but more than that, you have really intense butterflies in your stomach, as if you were on a rollercoaster. When you wake up it feels like you finally hit the ground after the fall, but the sensation in your stomach continues. Anyone else ever have that?
- hugoguzman, on 06/29/2008, -0/+4This seems like a bit of a stretch to me. These six consequences don't necessarily have anything to do with getting divorced.
- Barackalypse, on 06/29/2008, -0/+4Finally, DivineCaroline comes through with something somewhat relevant! I'm not going to dig it up because frankly I'm sick of all the crap from that site that finds its way onto here, but I'm not going to bury it either.
- Zaneris, on 06/29/2008, -0/+4The last time I had a night terror was when I was 16 or so, I've had freaky dreams since then, but they don't seem to scare me anymore, odd. Also I should note that now whenever I have a recurring dream, it becomes lucid and I sort of take control of it, as in, I'll remember the dream having happened before and change my course of action in the dream, yet, I never can remember my dreams for very long once I wake, so that's also weird.
- m0llusk, on 06/29/2008, -2/+66. Revealing too much information, which possibly includes submitting this link?
- dangermouse4, on 06/28/2008, -0/+4Sounds like you have more to worry about than sleep.
- Grommy, on 06/29/2008, -1/+5I get sleep paralysis around once a week--usually on weekends when I wake up on my own schedule. It's weird telling your body to move but not moving.
- kleash, on 06/29/2008, -0/+3Sleeping paralysis is such an intense experience especially when you start hallucinating.... One time, when I left my eyes closed with my mind is still conscious, my body is suddenly in a state of paralysis. Next thing I know, I'm stuck in 3 minutes of terror hallucination which seemed like 5 hours...I see lots of random blurry ***** with random voices and sometimes a really high pitch of noise that makes my head want to explode. When I finally woke up, my heart was pounding like ***** and I was breathing nonstop! This whole thing is like being in an actual twilight zone and everything seemed so realistic...and *****, I don't think I'm sleeping tonight.
- ThatGirlTasha, on 06/29/2008, -0/+3Very scary- I get it every few months or so.
I noticed it seems to be related to sugar. When I was a kid, I would get it if I took a nap after having pancakes with syrup.
If it hits me now, I just concentrate on either moving my hand or on trying to make a sound and that usually brings me around.
I don't do the hallucination thing, though. Bad enough to be lying there helpless, listening to someone else finish off the last of the cashews. - annig, on 06/28/2008, -3/+6Sleep is important for all healthy functions. The only problem is we are getting less and less of it. This is a huge problem for children and young adults.
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -0/+4WOW Great!..
- BlackVincent, on 06/28/2008, -2/+5Now I'm really going to have trouble falling asleep, worrying about not getting enough sleep.
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -2/+5Wtf? I'm over digg's obsession with divinecaroline.
- turpialito, on 06/30/2008, -0/+2Crappy article, crappy blog
- fas2, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2You don't have to rub it in our sorry faces ;)
- inactive, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2i've sleeped sexed before......>
- bmystry, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2What you should do is imagine its a really awesome episode of the twilight zone then when it happens again you just think "Free Movie!!" or "Holographic TV!!"
- jester55, on 06/29/2008, -1/+3Once i had a night terror. I just woke up and was like "OH *****" and started flipping out for no reason. Took me like 10 minutes to settle down again.
- Typhoon2009, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2Sort of. It's weird as hell.
- lamiaconfitor, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2Well, yeah, but that's not as fun... well, not always.
- MatthewDuke, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2I had a similar experience. I "woke up" but was paralyzed and saw a burned/charred body of a woman floating parallel with the ground about 4 feet off the floor. Her head was next to my head and she was speaking Latin in my ear. I concentrated on wiggling my toes and that eventually worked and broke the spell. So scary. I had to get up and change my underpants after that...
- bmystry, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2Ah yes they call that krueomnia

This one is also on-topic:
http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id= ... - everlast88, on 06/29/2008, -1/+3i've had sleep sex a few times, or so my girlfriend says, she normally can realize i'm sleeping and stop me by the time i have a finger in her
- pwnsey, on 06/29/2008, -0/+2Yeah all the time man. I had it about maybe once a week until I was 14. I still get it but its rare.
- forceuser, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1I saw two dark figures floating above my head moving towards me. Another time it felt like an earthquake was going on and some evil girl was laughing and I felt like I was on fire. Sleep paralysis sucks.
- 2Deluxe, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1I used to get sleep paralysis frequently when I was 10-15, and every time its terrifying.
The trick was to try keep calm, reassure yourself that it's just temporary and it will pass.
For me it usually lasted anywhere between 10 and 30 seconds... - moomincharlie, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1While I was at university I hadn't been sleeping very well, and one night I got startled awake which caused me to start full-on *screaming* at the top of my lungs.
My boyfriend, who had been sleeping beside me, was obviously and understandably ***** himself! From now on I make sure I get my 8 hours :) - inactive, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1I had that 4 nights ago.. funny that this popped up. Scared the crap out of me too..
- dalnet22, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1Correlation, not causation. My poor sex life may be the cause of too much stress, which is also causing poor sleep.
- TheSlinky, on 06/29/2008, -0/+1I used to get those when I was a child, don't anymore though which kinda sucks.
