You don't want to be eating peanuts on an airplane 18 inches from someone who is seriously allergic to them. On the other hand, coffeehouses and restaurants that are device free are a much better place to have a conversation. Banning devices to create a desired ambiance ought to be a business owner's prerogative.

I understand public safety issues, but come on. How rampant can these supposed electrical sensitivity allergies be to justify banning WiFi?
